Monthly Rentals in Uncle Jimmys Landing

We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Thank you for a great stay, Alex.

Island Life was perfect for our family of 4. It has one bedroom and one pullout sofa. We spent more time at the beach so it was a great place to sleep and get cleaned up! It’s a quick walk to the beach or sound, we preferred the few minute drive to ORV ramp 25. Jonathon was great with communication and even got help lined up for us when our battery died one morning. This is a great way to get to the beach without spending a fortune for a house that you may not need. We’ll definitely be back!

Highly recommend Tamis place for your outer banks getaway! It was the perfect place for us to celebrate a special birthday with our whole family. We loved lounging around the pool by day and the fire pit at night. It's a great halfway point between Nags head and Cape Hatteras. Also loved having the liberty market right by the house that seemed to have any amenities I needed in a pinch. (I forgot to pack a bathing suit) We would definitely like to come back for another visit!

While we were on our way to Arlene's house she contacted me to let me know the street and driveway were flooding due to the high waves. She said if it was too hard to get in, her husband would take us to the house in his truck. We were able to make it in but it was a very kind offer and went above and beyond! Arlene's house was comfortable with an amazing view. A lot of the beach had receded away due to storms which made walks on the beach difficult at times but the view from her decks made up for it. The only thing we could have wished for was a bit more yard with less tall prickly vines to walk our pup and to walk thru to the beach due to the driveway and road being flooded. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and I would come back again. Thank you Arlene for your very fast responses and offer of your husband's truck to get in! If we come back to the area we will absolutely see if your home is available again.
