Penelope was a great Host. We reached pretty late from our long international flight. She came over in no time as soon as we called her and helped us settle into the house. This is a great place for people looking to the Comrades Down run. But you need to have a car as its a little far from downtown. The house was very comfortable, and perfect for us.

A spacious living area features earthy tones and natural textures. Comfortable seating is provided by woven chairs and a sofa adorned with vibrant cushions. A wooden coffee table is centered among the seating. Light fixtures and a large television add functionality to the space.

Carshalton Country Escape

This really is a beautiful spot if you looking for some time out. Unfortunately we were in and out for a school sports tournament with not the greatest weather so would have loved to be able to have had more time to stay. You do have to travel on a portion of untarred road but we all managed to reach our destination in a variety of car types. My favourite feature of that house is the well appointed kitchen - often in staying in self catering houses you are supplied with the bare minimum - which is definitely not the case here. Teas and coffees and basic condiments were such a nice touch - right down to a garlic press and an air fryer. Would definitely recommend!
