Ideal for walkers, bird-watchers and nature lovers, this quiet bolt-hole is in the garden of one of the oldest houses in Swanage. The Purbeck stone building in the southern outskirts of the town is separate from the main house, has it's own entrance and off-road parking. A five minute walk brings you to the Durlston National Nature Reserve looking out over the Jurassic coast. Durlston Castle, the Lighthouse and the Southwest Coast Path are 15 minutes away on foot. All without crossing a road.

This is a comfortable flat for 2 people, with amazing views of Swanage bay. Stairs lead up to the flat which is on the 3rd floor of a Victorian villa. It is a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre and beaches, it is also ideally located for the south west coastal path on the cliffs above Swanage. The property is located on a hill, as are most properties to the right(looking to sea) of the town centre. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, nespresso coffee machine, free wifi and internet TV.

We have just had an amazing stay in Hannah's place in Swanage. Hannah is lovely and so kind. I had told her that we were going away for my 60th and I was greeted with a banner, a birthday card AND a cake, along with biscuits, milk and crisps! It was a real treat to see and hear the trains so close to our back door and to hear the House Martins, Swallows and Swifts visiting their nests on the neighbouring houses. Everything was clean and tidy and a very pleasant place to stay. As short people we needed the extra cushions on the sofa bed! We thoroughly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful stay at Jenny’s place. We’re very familiar with Swanage so we knew the location well, it was peaceful, spotlessly clean, well maintained and had everything that we were looking for. We would love to visit again! Jenny was very responsive, very flexible and accommodating, all of which we really appreciated. We’ve already recommended Jenny’s place to friends and family members who also love Swanage, as we know that they would be very happy to stay there. We look forward to coming back.

Just what was needed for a few days away. Perfect little apartment to relax and within walking distance to shops, beaches and food outlets. Nice and peaceful and everything as described. Bonus for me was the parking space as it meant I could leave the car there for my entire stay without worrying about the need to move it or parking fees elsewhere. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again when I next visit Swanage.

Highly recommend this little gem. Fabulous location directly opposite venue where wedding we were attending was, in the centre of town. Right near the sea which was easily seen from the window, where you could sit and watch the world go past. Two floors up in an Edwardian building containing 5 flats. Very clean and tranquil space with everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. Susie the host was very responsive and helpful, giving clear instructions. Although no car parking at the property it was easy to find on road parking in near by street, thanks to instructions given by host. Fantastic selection of places to eat a stone's throw away. Brookes Tea Room was a favourite of ours for Breakfast. Fabulous Tapas Restaurant, The Purbeck Plaza around the corner another favourite. A very peaceful space which we hope to use again in the near future. Thank you Susie x

My two friends and I had a wonderful short stay at Nick and Cindy's...we want to return! it was just so comfy and bright in the apartment and close to everything in Swanage so it was also very conveniently situated. Some lovely little touches too...the little bowl of chocolates for our arrival, good quality tea, coffee and emergency milk available, lovely fluffy towels and lots of spare loo rolls...All really thoughtful touches that we really appreciated ❤️

The Beach House Swanage

I had a great stay in this property to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday with my family. The property is simply amazing and Des is a great host. The location can’t be better and the pictures simply don’t do the view justice over swanage bay. All the little extras are brilliant, body boards, bucket and spade, bbq’s, pool table make that added difference. All furnishings are finished to a high standard and the property was spotless throughout. Parking can be found very close by and Des was kind enough to allow us a flexible check out to make the most of swanage. This is by far one of the best places I have stayed in through Airbnb and I hope to return in the future. I would highly recommend.
