Donna has an absolutely beautiful place. It was immaculately clean and exactly as described. The enclosed garden was perfect for my elderly dog. Donna was extremely welcoming and friendly and gave great local recommendations for walks and dining. I would highly recommend her place! 5🌟

My weekend staying here was amazing from start to finish, the shepherds hut is the perfect peaceful and calm base to explore the beautiful Lake District, it’s such a nice place to stay I didn’t want to leave! The owners are great and I felt very at home.
An outdoor seating area is shown, featuring a wooden table and matching benches surrounded by greenery. Two individuals are seated and engaged in conversation, with a dog resting nearby. Open French doors provide access to the interior, while a clear sky hints at a pleasant day.

The lodge we stayed it was just what we were looking for. It was peaceful and away from others, the lodge was clean as you can ask for and it just felt like home from the second we walked in. The bed where comfortable, me and the partner slept amazing and couldn’t ask for anything me. Would highly recommend and we will be returning soon

Secluded Woodland Cabin in North Cumbria

We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away

Ivy Cottage near the Lake District

ShireeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great find of a stunningly beautiful cottage in a peaceful village. We were the area for a family wedding , which was changed venue at last moment. Cottage was to high standards, hosts left lovely jam and brownies (both homemade & were yummy). Great nights sleep for everyone, beds were so comfy and cosy. I didn’t want to get up. I’ll definitely be back to Ivy cottage for another holiday. Can’t recommend ivy cottage highly enough. Thank you James and Sarah.
