Our Scandinavian modern-vintage hideaway is tucked away on the edge of the forest. Open the sliding door and have breakfast with bird sounds, pine scent and squirrels around you. Large glass facades, Danish design furniture, a rain shower and a barista corner provide luxurious comfort in the middle of nature. Outside, you can enjoy a shower or bath under the pines, relax in the hammock and a fire pit under the starry sky. The Gorsselse Heide and the historic Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are just around the corner.

Alpacadroom is a unique location at the edge of the village and the Speulderbos. Our cozy vacation home can accommodate 14 people. The old horse stables with barn have been converted into an attractive, modern, and luxurious guesthouse. The spacious living room features a complete kitchen with a cooking island. All bedrooms have a TV and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The entire property has underfloor heating. It is very suitable for family or friends' week(end) gathering. Handmade out of many reclaimed materials by Jaap, and personally designed to blend into the glorious high trees by Lucinda, with 10.5m metres of glass so you can watch the animals pass by from the sofa. The terrace is a morning sun trap for a great yoga and meditation session followed by breakfast to the birdsong chorus. Perfect for a couple (plus baby in cot) or 2 friends. Our beautiful windmill was built on the remains of a medieval castle in 1873. In 2006 the mill was fully renovated. You will have a comfortable stay in the mill which is surrounded by a beautiful garden. Maurik is a charming village, very centrally located between larger cities like Utrecht, Den Bosch, Arnhem and Nijmegen. The area is very suitable for cycling, hiking and swimming.
