Very nice base to explore Sneek and the surrounding area. Quiet neighborhood with a nice terrace and you are in the center in no time. The cottage was very clean and equipped with every comfort. Gea is a nice, friendly host. In short: recommended!

We enjoyed the time very much and did many small bike rides. The accommodation is beautiful, quiet and very idyllically located. However, we would not stay in the property again with 5 adults. The loft bed is more suitable for children and unfortunately we were not able to sleep so well, as there was no air coming up under the roof at night (despite the open window) and it became very warm and stuffy. With children, you can definitely recommend the accommodation! :)

Enjoyed a weekend getaway with two 4-month-old babies. Nice house, nice garden with grass to relax in and above all enjoy the area and its nature and history. Thanks to tips from Miranda, we were able to discover new things in the area.

We had a wonderful time at Connie's lovely stay. The cottage is brightly quiet, lots of privacy, near the beach on IJselmeer. A beautiful environment, nice lunch at the Strandhuijs.

We were 14 adults who wanted a place to spend time together and get to know the area. The space was perfect for that. Upon arrival, we noticed that the photos make the size appear smaller. So there's a lot more space. Everything was available for everyday life, even for the grill! We were also allowed to check in and out a little earlier, which also made the trip less stressful. Thank you for everything!

Petra is a very nice and accommodating host. Everything matched the descriptions. She couldn't help the very mixed weather. Nevertheless, guests arriving with bicycles and possibly with a child trailer should know that there is no storage space. Otherwise, everything was really great!

Dear Hosts, We were warmly welcomed. Everything was sufficiently explained/ shown to us and the herb garden at the house was also at our disposal. We were also immediately helped with the bike search, Auke took care of everything and took us to the bike rental by car. The homemade apple juice (very tasty) and the fresh eggs were a lovely gesture. We felt very comfortable with the two of them!

A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organization and communication was just great, so we felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske right away. Thank you very much for everything and certainly see you next time!

What a nice stay we had! Super friendly people. Beautiful place and very central location. We were with 2 young children and this was very easy to do! Certainly subject to repetition! Who knows, maybe next year!😉

We just had 3 nights in this apartment and fell in love with it. Very stylish and extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was provided plus a lovely bowl of delicious chocolates and bottled water. This has to be one of our best stays in an apartment yet. The space was large and really quiet. The street is really pretty and full of lovely old buildings. Thankyou Anna. We will be back.

Great books available, inspiring. And the music choice is also interesting and original. The house has everything you need, well maintained, but also not superfluous or confusing. Atmospherically decorated, candles and beautiful light. It is as neat as if it were a private household. We are fans of the island cottage!

We had a lovely weekend in the residence of Sjoerdsje and Lennard! Top location! Clean, tidy and practically furnished. We didn't lack anything! Communication was also smooth and they were very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Great place to stay, nice beds and furniture, fully equipped kitchen. Jan was very helpful and responsive. Only thing to take into account is payed parking in Harlingen (€10 for a day pass on nearby parking lot)

A wonderful place to stay, views of the countryside and a great quiet garden. The kids thought it was super funny that the beds are basically "in the closet" and you can hide well. We only spent one night there in transit but would always like to do it again. A few eggs and muffins as a welcome on the table was very nice!

I had a wonderful stay! The host was polite, very responsive, and maintained great communication throughout. The location is excellent—close to everything I needed—and the apartment was spotless, well-organized, and incredibly comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely book again and highly recommend both the host and the apartment.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay in Lily’s place. Tastefully decorated in blue and white, new bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good welcome and instruction leaflet in several languages, great balcony and view of the IJsselmeer and your own parking spot in the back. If you don’t have children I wouldn’t stay in this area during the school holidays as it will be busy and noisy. Now it was perfect, quiet and peaceful and would definetely recommend staying in this lovely apartment.

Compact studio equipped with everything you need, with beautiful garden and views of the church. Piet Paaltjens lived in the rectory, nice poem on the wall. Quiet area, plenty to see, good base. Yfke and Henk are very kind and have created a beautiful place. Worth repeating!
