We felt comfortable in the cottage from the beginning. The gas fireplace in the cozy living room was our highlight with winter outside temperatures. In the town, everything is within walking distance and you can park at the train station.

We were with a larger group of adults and children in the accommodation. We were absolutely delighted with the modern furnished house. The location is super quiet and beautiful. It was very clean and spacious. We have nothing to complain about and would book again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The place has a nice and quiet location, ideal for relaxing. The layout over two levels offers plenty of space, which makes the stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful week on Ameland and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on a Wadden Island very much. The house was furnished and equipped with every comfort. Ballum is a beautiful and quiet place with nice restaurants and a neighborhood supermarket. Nice place to discover the whole island by bike.

Everything was great. The cottage was as described. With 6 people we had enough space. The living space was very cozy. The surroundings were quiet and we were 5 minutes' walk from the IJsselmeer. We could have saved ourselves the trouble of booking the towels. We expected a little more for the price. In addition, bath mats were missing in the bathrooms. Otherwise, we liked it very much and we had a lovely time.

The house is super nice and very bright! Having to pay a surcharge for an earlier arrival and then finding a partially dirty house was unfortunately disappointing. Communication was fast and straightforward!

We had three wonderful days with three generations of family. Also for seven people and dog the house was more than generous. But the most beautiful thing was the garden, you just have to go to relax there. Thank you!

We stayed at Annette‘s place for a long weekend with a with friends and their kids. We were 10 in total with 6 kids between 5 and 14 years old. The house with the spacious garden instantly captured the kids and us parents could start the relaxing weekend from the get go. The beautiful surroundings are great for walking, running, cycling or boating. Located within a nature reserve, there is plenty of outdoor activities to be had. We had a great time and are contemplating of going there again in the future!

Zilverduin is a beautiful house! The location was our favourite feature; within walking distance to a beautiful beach. Leonie was great with giving us tips about the area and things that were handy like rental bikes which got delivered straight to the house - what a luxury! A few things I would have liked to see though, would be: something to handle the mosquitos in the house and higher quality bedding items (the crib for the baby was below expectations for a house at this price point, as were the pillows). Other than that, the host was easy to reach. There is also a caretaker nearby to speak to incase of any emergency. The host also was kind enough to let us check in early and change our dates last minute all to accommodate our ferry times (which I highly suggest booking WELL in advance, ie weeks, if not months!). She also allowed my friends to bring their service dog even though we notified her late. All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay with two families and our kids!

We had a lovely weekend with the whole family in the villa (8 adults & 5 children) The house is very nicely decorated and offers plenty of space to play and romp. The path to the beach leads through a beautiful forest. The communication between the host and us was flawless. If you had any questions, you would receive a response within a few minutes. We will be happy to come back.

Very well maintained place, brand new, spotless in a beautiful setting.

This was a great place for us -- we stayed here with some family, 5 adults in total. The location is ideal (short walk to beach, short bike ride to town, close to bike trails to all of the island). We loved the well-equipped kitchen and enjoyed having breakfast on the patio. It's pricey, but worth it if you can afford it.

Nice church, very nice place to have our annual weekend. Plenty of cutlery, plates and pans available, which is always extra nice. Especially if you are with a large group. Recommended!

A lovely quiet place. Spacious garden, beautiful views. The house is cozy, cozy and has all the comforts. Within fifteen minutes you are in beautiful forest areas where you can walk endlessly. Also a great place for cycling enthusiasts.

Stayed in this cottage for the 3rd time. Nice place and nice contact with the owner.

We were traveling with two families (4 adults and 3 children). The house has enough space. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and personal. We had a small issue and got an answer right after contacting them and resolved it. The furnishings of the house are simple and without much decoration/coziness but sufficient. The kitchen, in turn, was well equipped (toaster, gas stove, good microwave, pots of various sizes). Children's equipment (stair gate at the top, high chair and crib) are available and sun loungers were brought to us. The garden is huge and offers plenty of space for the children to play. Location is quiet in the middle of a holiday park. The pool was still empty at the end of April/beginning of May. Although the weather was only warm during the day, the house has heated up a lot and it is very bright. We had a good time and can recommend the stay!

We really enjoyed the house, beautiful garden, chill space and swimming pool. Except that it is very nicely decorated, it is also very complete. Bart is very friendly and responded incredibly quickly with a question from us. Even though we were only there for a long weekend, it really felt like a vacation.

The cottage is in a very beautiful park with a good restaurant and nice staff. The surroundings are very green, and you can enjoy hiking in the adjacent forest. For smaller children it is also fun, all kinds of activities are organized. The house has all the comforts. You can cook yourself, do the laundry, there is a dishwasher and the shower is fine. And my son slept right in the bed 😊 Definitely worth it and also worth repeating.

We were about 14 people in the house and had a great time. The house was tidy and everything was new and equipped. The pool the sauna and hot tub were great as well. The living room was cozy and decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped. The only criticism is that basic things in the kitchen today are missing: coffee, tea, pepper salt. We also had to buy toilet papers because there were not enough. On top of that, we really enjoyed the house and the hosts.

We were 4 adults and 2 children under 7 years old. Two cars fit well on the driveway, there was a swing, two bikes and a clean space. We were on site for 4 days and were able to enjoy everything very much. Check-in and directions were well described. Bedding and towels (a small one for everyone) were clean and on site. We were also able to make great use of the crib. In the kitchen there was a filter machine but also a Senseo pad machine, all extremely clean. The only thing that bothered us a little is the lightness of the house, for which the hostess can't do anything and for which there are no deductions. It was just very unusual. Otherwise we felt very comfortable, were able to enjoy the garden and the tranquility. One day we drove to Harlingen to the beach, it took less than 30 minutes.
