The tranquility of the lakes in the forests of Vittsjö

Lovely cottage from the 50s with nice vintage furniture inspired by the same decade. Is the last cottage on the way out on a headland in Vittsjö's lake area, so here you have the peace and quiet, but are still only a walk from shops and trains. The forest is close by and there are lovely hiking areas. Good fishing just meters from the front door. Here you wake up with a view of a beautiful lake! Enjoy the starry sky and the owls' hooting in the evening. From November 1, 2025, we will change one bedroom to a lounge and only accommodate two guests.

Nestled in a rhododendron in the north part of Hjelmsjöborg's park is this octagonal tower Palm House. This is a very unique building where you get a home like nothing else. Five meters in ceiling height, beautiful stuccos, brick paintings, a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom, spiral staircase, a paved patio with a Mediterranean feel and not even a stone's throw from the house is Hjelmsjöns nice tennis courts. In the winter months it can get a little cold, then you have to curl up on the couch and light a fire in the fireplace.

A super cozy timber cabin in the woods. This place is made for the adventurous or for a relaxing getaway. Just take our rowing boat for a swim at the lake, use our digital maps with paths only the locals know walking or biking, take a sauna or just cuddle upp in front of the huge soapstone stove. The cabin is around 50 m² and sleeps 5 persons with 2 single beds and 2 double beds to choose from. Firewood, maps, sauna, rowing boat etc is all inclusive & dogs are of course welcome too!

Stugan ligger i vår lummiga och grönskande trädgård med plats att äta, vila, plocka bär eller bara umgås. Stugan är lämplig för 1-2 personer. Bra wifi. Lugnt boendeområde, nära till mataffärer, ca 1 km till centrum och tågstationen. Djupa skogar, våtmark, sjö och flera vandringsleder i närheten. Gratis parkering. Tåg till tex Malmö tar 45 min och Köpenhamn 90 min.

Wildlife chalet on our farm

When you wake up, our fallow deer/chickens will greet you. We have a farm with 20 hectares. In the evening, there is communal feeding of the fallow deer herd. From mid-June, the fawns can be admired. The cottage was completely newly renovated in 2023/2024. It has a living room with a wood-burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and high-quality bathroom. The sleeping area is located on an intermediate level with panoramic windows.

Skyrups GK Proximity to beautiful Skåneleden, Hovdala, Finjasjön and the nice restaurant at Skyrups Golf & Hotel. It has all the possibilities whether you want activities or relaxation. Really nice home in a quiet area. Close to the city but still in beautiful surroundings. The home is clean and cozy and is especially good for a smaller number of guests. There is a fire pit and a cozy open garden. In addition, good places to fish. The host is super nice and helpful. Can only be recommended.

We had a lovely stay in this cosy house. It is remote and quiet. You can reach it best by car. The nearest bus-stop is about 2km away along a lovely road with loads to see. It's a sand-gravel road, so not ideal for trolley suitcases, although you could definitely make the trip with it. The house itself was in perfect condition and the kitchen comes with everything you might need for your stay. Linda could be reached easily via the Airbnb app and was very helpful with directions.

Thank you so much for a pleasant stay. We had a little trouble with the hot water, but otherwise the accommodation was great. For children, the sweet spot was the small zoo that is around the whole caravan 🙂 If we have a trip to Hovdala, we will definitely be happy to return.
