Airlies Farm Cottage

RoslynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
There was everything we could possibly need in the cottage which is so tastefully furnished including two reclining chairs in the conservatory which is where we spent most of our time. Even on the days it rained we could relax in the conservatory, reading or doing a jigsaw, and unwind. Gina and her husband are very friendly and helpful, making us feel at home. If we could give it six stars we would!

Auchengashell, stunning sea views

MartinRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house and grounds are spectacular- with amazing views across the Irish Sea to Cumbria and the Isle of Man. Amazing array of wildlife within the grounds- red squirrels, hares, roe deer, red kites all frequently sighted. The house is so comfortable and very tastefully decorated with very high quality fixtures and fittings. The surrounding area is very beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. One of the very best AirB&Bs we have stayed in, highly recommended.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious, handy for restaurants and galleries and Kirkcudbright harbour. We really appreciated the excellent folder full of notes and recommendations about trips to make and places to visit etc. Eric and Cathy were unfailingly helpful.

Rose Cottage, Kirkcudbright

Rose cottage is a beautiful cottage, full of character:- its ideally located for the town of kirkcudbright (being just a couple of minutes on foot). the cottage was spotlessly clean, beds super comfy and showers great. at the rear is a delightful garden with sun terrace which leads to a playpark with grassy area. a few minutes drive away, is barrhill wood, where, you can spot the local wildlife, including red squirrels. can highly recommend the excellent butchers(hall's) around the corner, along with chen's chinese takeaway, the scran van on the quay for fresh fish and last but not least, the masonic arms, best pub in kirkcudbright

Roseneath Cottage

What a lovely, idyllic cottage in a quiet village, at the foot of beautiful hills. Elizabeth was very friendly and fast to respond to any queries I had. We had a slight issue in the bathroom and Elizabeth was over and had it repaired in less than 30 minutes of reporting it. If you like gardens, it may be small, but this cottage has an absolutely beautiful one, if only it had been a bit warmer I would have been out in it every spare minute I was there, also it is just round the corner to Threave Gardens. I would happily stay here again when visiting family locally. Thank you Elizabeth.

The Byre, Summerhill Farm Stays

JoshRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Holly and Nick have created an amazing little space, perfect for a relaxing and peaceful getaway. The place was spotless and cosy, me and my fiancée were more than impressed and our expectations were absolutely exceeded, especially with such an affordable price. The hosts were so helpful and answered any and all questions we had. We had some lovely neighbours, being the farm's sheep who quite happily walked around the field as well as a very friendly pooch who came and gave us loads of cuddles on the decking. Overall it was a perfect little stay for us to unwind and relax and I'm certainly sure that we will be back again in the future. A big thank you to Holly and Nick!

⭐Beautiful Rural⭐ 4 bedroom family cottage

AlistairRating, 5 stars1 week ago
6 of us enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week at Robin's Nest. Lovely surroundings, lots of wildlife and domestic animals around, lots of interesting places to visit and Kircudbright is a nice town for exploring, good restaurants and cafes. Donald was an excellent host. Only slight negative, mattress in upstairs double was a little hard, lumpy.
