This place was perfect! It is a beautiful home and the upstairs neighbor was so friendly. It is such a nice neighborhood and everything fun is within walking distance. Diana made everything easy from parking passes to answering any questions that I had. I would highly recommend this home for a fun, comfy vacation. My family and I loved it so much that we will be back!

Great host overall. He responded to our messages in a timely manner and goes out of his way to try and help with accommodations. Place was clean and peaceful felt just like home. Would love to stay here again in the future.

We stayed at this house for one night and it was one of the best nights we had on this road trip. The house is very nice and clean and full of amenities that made us feel like home! We love the golf simulator as well and it kept me and my kids busy for a while!! It also has a nice ocean view from the window and makes this place even better! The hose is super responsive and even gifted us a bottle of wine!! I would highly recommend and come back again!

Sarah’s house was exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, comfortable and decorated well. The proximity to the ocean was an extra bonus and we enjoyed walking there each morning with coffee in hand. My 11 yr old niece LOVED the reading nook in the downstairs bedroom. The entire house was comfy especially the beds, kitchen well stocked for cooking and extra linens, towels, beach towels, and beach gear on hand. No A/C, but you get a cool ocean breeze all day long that keeps the noise to a comfortable temp. We have stayed at a handful of air bnb’s and this is our favorite. Wish we could have stayed longer. We had a wonderful stay at this home—it was the perfect setting for our vacation with multiple families and young children. The house was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed, from a fully stocked kitchen that made group meals a breeze to thoughtful amenities that made traveling with little ones so much easier. There was plenty of space for everyone to relax and spend quality time together, and the layout made it easy to keep an eye on the kids while still enjoying ourselves. The home was clean, comfortable, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. We’d gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids!

Our stay in Aptos was very relaxing. It took about 20 minutes to get to and from downtown Santa Cruz via the freeway. We had 5 people in our group and really appreciated that the property was pet friendly. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. There is a cleaning checklist for checkout, but it wasn’t an issue. The home is two stories, with the bedrooms and a shared bathroom located downstairs, and the kitchen upstairs. It’s conveniently located near a Chase bank, Rite Aid, Safeway, and Peet’s Coffee. The neighborhood itself is very quiet. Overall, we had a great stay.

Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

Everything was great! The unit had everything you could possibly need for a trip (stocked bathroom, stocked kitchen, tons of extra towels and blankets). The neighborhood was also very quiet, which was great because we're light sleepers. I would definitely recommend this spot and would stay again.

Really hard to describe how wonderful the whole back yard is. Sunset here were amazing. All kinds of wildlife. The smell of the California hills in springtime always refreshes. Dogs loved it (and couldn't quite believe it). We swung on the swing, sat in the gazebo, enjoyed basking in the balcony views.

Linda and Bob are wonderful hosts. We love their beautiful studio. The location is an amazing and we felt very safe and secure. Their property is a beautiful vineyard and the pool is right outside the studio. Lots of walkable paths, and our dogs Loved it. We will be back!

Place is exactly as described. Glad we asked about the heated pool and got it heated during our stay. June was still chilly at night and would have made the pool too cold to swim in for mots of the day without heating. Place was clean and exactly as described.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the apartment was large and lovely with hardwood floors and thoughtful decor. It was nice to have a covered parking spot so close to the apartment, and I loved the little lounge seat in the bedroom. The closets were very roomy with big mirrors and there were lots of comfy blankets and towels and plenty of paper towels and toilet paper for guests. The bathroom had two sinks and lots of drawers and cabinets. The area was quiet and safe and the neighbors were friendly. I especially loved the water features on the grounds, and the patio had a perfect view of the fountains and beautiful redwood trees. The hosts were great and answered the few questions I had. It was very peaceful and I would definitely stay here again!

A group of us stayed for a wedding in town, and had a great time at Elia’s lounging by the pool and making breakfast together in the mornings. The hosts were super responsive and even Amazoned us a reusable keurig cup during our stay for us to enjoy our own coffee beans

I had the absolute pleasure of staying in a beautiful cabin in La Honda, CA last weekend, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The cabin itself was cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of the redwoods — the perfect escape from the city. What made the stay even more special were the incredible hosts. Devora and her husband who own the property were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, and it really made all the difference. Whether you’re looking for a quiet retreat in nature or just a memorable weekend getaway, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to coming back!

Very thankful for this quaint experience! The kids loved the toys and the very kind neighbor helped make sure we had chargers for all the electric toys.

Gabriel is a super friendly and responsive host. His home is nestled amongst the trees, and you really get to enjoy it with so many windows and sliding doors that open out to all the nature. The main room was perfect for our family and friends to hang out in. Short walk to Cat and Cloud for morning coffee, New Leaf for groceries, and Penny’s for some ice cream. For mobility, there are quite a few level changes and gravel paths to navigate, just fyi.

Staying at this cabin nestled in the heart of a redwood grove in the Santa Cruz mountains was truly magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this wasn't just a place to stay — it was a carefully curated experience. The host has thought of everything to make guests feel at home and beyond comfortable. The attention to detail was incredible: high-quality toiletries, a well-stocked pantry with essentials (and then some!), soft, luxurious bedding, and even thoughtfully placed candles that added a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Every touch felt intentional and generous. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the host. Incredibly accommodating, kind, and flexible — they went out of their way to ensure every one of our needs was met with care and promptness. It’s rare to come across someone so committed to hospitality. Waking up surrounded by towering redwoods, with birdsong filtering through the trees, was unforgettable.

This is my second year renting. Kim’s place works well for my little family. We loved access to boogie boards. Just perfect for my 6 year old granddaughter who tried it for the first time. Also used a couple of beach chairs. I don’t remember them at my past stay.

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin in the Redwoods. What a beautiful location, of course the pictures do not do it justice. Literally nestled in the center of towering redwoods. The kids loved the swingset, art room, game room and of course exploring the yard for banana slugs. The cabin was much bigger than we expected, we definitely plan on returning in the future. Have visited North end of Santa Cruz many times and long ago lived near the harbor. Had not spent much time in South end of Santa Cruz which was a treat. Surfview house was the perfect place for a beach holiday allowing you to feel like a Santa Cruz local for a few days. Lot's of opportunities a short walk from the house. All the beach amenities you could ask for. Kitchen and 2nd floor living space has spectacular views and kitchen was well stocked with fancy new appliances and a pleasure to prepare meals. Hope to return for a future visit.
