Modern Micanopy Lakeside

We had a great time staying in Gloria's place. The house itself is attracive, well maintained, and clean. The views are spectacular. The town of Micanopy has fun little downtown that is an easy walk. Paine's Prairie Preserve is nearby, along with other 'Real FLorida" attractions.

Treetop Artist Retreat

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Four years I. A row and counting. This is a hidden gem, my kids vote year after year to visit Judy’s home to start the summer off. The grounds is just jaw dropping, beautiful sunrise beyond the majestic oak trees. We would just absolutely buy this place, but Judy say it’s not for sale. I’m happy she Airbnb this place and share the beauty of Florida with us. A must visit, if you are in central Florida. Five stars all the way through. Great host. Thanks

Historic Huff cottage-Pet Friendly

Kevin WalterRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We enjoyed feeding the animals. We brought apples and carrots for them. The baby goats are adorable, and Highland cows and donkeys and ponies! We rented a slip for our bass boat at Sportsmans Cove nearby. The fishing was not very good maybe due to time of year, but we caught a few small bass. The hydrilla is thick throughout Orange Lake. The Airbnb had a comfortable bed. We requested an additional portable heater because the one heater wasn't enough for both rooms, and it was immediately provided. . The induction stove has only one burner, but there is also a crock pot and an air fryer and outdoor grill. As other reviews stated, the dogs do bark in the mornings at times, and roosters crow very early. We used ear plugs at night which helped us to sleep. Don't miss the huge old Live Oak in their front yard that's hundreds of years old!

Beautiful House, Historic District, Micanopy

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Two friends and I booked this home for a mini-retreat. It is LOVELY! A 1947 home in pristine condition right next to the main street of this small town. The town was quiet but that was fine. We loved the house so much! The lot filled with trees and plants, the cozy architecture, the roominess. It had one bath which was perfectly fine for our needs. It was charming in 1940's (50's?) pink and spotless. An excellent information notebook was available which was very helpful for our dining decisions. We were right across the street from a B&B mansion and booked our breakfast there the next morning which was a great treat. We wouldn't have thought to do that without seeing the info Jamie left for us. If we head that way again, there is no doubt we'll book this beautiful home.
