40 ACRE wooded retreat by Lake Texoma
We found this place late and super last minute . Chris confirmed our booking within 30 minutes and was warm and welcoming for us to stay the three nights we booked. The Shire was located in a private, beautiful wooden area and the house felt like home. It was absolutely perfect for our 11th anniversary. We were given very clear instructions and he left us to our relaxing. We will absolutely be back to this location.
Sandy Creek Hideaway -Couples Cabin -Hot Tub
Very cute, relaxing, and CLEAN! The hot tub was the reason for our booking, and it did not disappoint! Jennifer was very nice and allowed us to check in early (without having to ask) since they didn’t have guests the night before. Will definitely book again this summer to float down Little Niagara!

This place was so perfect for us! Lots of room for us to spread out, which we so desperately needed!!! Plenty of activities, beautiful surroundings, a well stocked kitchen, and the host were very accommodating to our needs. I cannot thank them enough for providing such a wonderful getaway and experience for our family. Planning to return this summer.
Mana Farm Davis Gypsy Nights
We had an amazing weekend here! Destiny was helpful and kind, and we had so much fun seeing all of her amazing animals! The Peacocks were especially cool, and we loved hanging out with Lil Bit, the cutest barn cat ever. Throughout the weekend, we probably said “This is so cool!” To each other 100 times. The Yurt was super cozy, and a blast to hang out in! There’s a nice deck to hang out on too. We could not recommend this place enough.
Big Red Barn & Bed at Moo & Bray Farm
Shannon gave perfect recommendations for food as well as fun things to do in the area. Her accommodations were five star, the apartment was clean and fully stocked! They restocked the firewood every day while we were out to make sure we had it in the evening time. She took us on an awesome ride throughout the property to meet and greet and feed the cows and donkeys and pigs, etc. Shannon was wonderful! She did a load of laundry for us, even though the washer and dryer was not included with our stay! Highly recommend
Cozy Cabin Lake Texoma
The cabin was comfortable. It is a beautiful setting. My grandchildren had fun exploring the grounds and using the games. They went fishing and have not stopped talking about it even though they didn't catch anything. We will stay there again I am sure.
Treetop Retreat
Great stay at Sara’s place! Views are amazing. Nice amenities. Great kitchen with plenty of cookware, utensils, spices etc. She also had plenty of linens and towels for our large group. Sara was very responsive and communicated well throughout. Our main reason for being in Ardmore was to go to Lake Murray. Beautiful lake and enjoyed the boat rental. We also went to dinner in downtown Ardmore. Very quaint with plenty of shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.
The Cozy Pines Cabin
The cabin and ambiance were just what we needed this weekend. Thanks so much for everything! Unfortunately, the internet still kept saying that there wasn't a stable connection the entire time. It actually did allow for us to rest and disconnect from all the stressors at home, so it proved to be exactly what we needed! Turner Falls isn’t just a beautiful waterfall in the heart of Oklahoma’s Arbuckle Mountains. It’s synonymous with Turner Falls Park, recreational area that’s been a popular spot for travelers since the 1860s. The park encompasses more than 1,500 acres of pools, falls, caves, and other interesting geological features along Honey Creek, and it’s covered with nature trails perfect for hiking. But unlike a state or national park focused squarely on preservation, Turner Falls Park has been developed for family-friendly entertainment and adventure. The focal point is its 77-foot waterfall — one of the state’s tallest — which cascades into a beautifully clear natural swimming pool. Elsewhere, eateries, novelty shops, cabins, campsites, and picnic areas are posted throughout the park, inviting visitors to spend the day — or a night or two.

Given its proximity to the Arbuckle Mountains, Turner Falls experiences a relatively mild, dry climate with hot summer days and cool winter nights. Summer temperatures can reach into the 90s Fahrenheit, making a dip in the park’s natural pools seem all the more inviting. Temperatures drop only slightly on summer evenings, averaging in the 70s and 80s. Natural Caves
Turner Falls Park has three natural caves in the park, open to curious explorers. Formed of conglomerates, limestone, granite, shale, and sandstone, the caves are all large enough for adults to enter on foot, and at least one, Crystal Cave, is home to a large population of bats.
Collings Castle
Built in 1931 by an Oklahoma writer and academic, this now eerily dilapidated castle is located a short walk from the falls. Made entirely of native stone that has long since succumbed to the natural environment, the ruins feature a handful of rooms and a network of narrow hallways leading to turrets that look out over the park. It’s rumored to be haunted.
Chickasaw National Recreation Area
Just 30 minutes northeast of Turner Falls Park is this designated natural area, where spring-fed creeks, steams, and lakes cover nearly 10,000 acres. Swimming holes and hiking trails abound, and recreation, including watersports and fishing, is permitted in designated areas.
