Please note that arriving and departing from the cabin require rowing skills and some physical effort, but the effort is rewarded with stunning views and tranquility. You will have access to a wooden cabin, 25 m² plus a loft and a 10 m² terrace. The cabin comfortably accommodates 2-3 people.

The apartment was clean, had a proper set of kitchenware and glasses and plates, etc., and the location suited really well for our needs. There were boardgames, books and even a plush toy for the little ones, which were a nice touch. There are restaurants and bars nearby and the supermarket is just on the other side of the river (fun to take the small ferry across the river). Pia was a responsive host and gave clear instructions how to find the apartment. We had a bit of an issue with some odd smell in the bathroom and she offered to visit us albeit not living in Turku. We concluded together the smell issue was most likely due to the drain not being used for a while and the more we used the taps, the less smell we had. Pia said they would take care of it after our stay.

A large, glazed balcony offers a view of the Aurajoki River and nearby buildings. Comfortable seating is provided, with a sofa and two chairs arranged around a small coffee table. Natural light fills the space, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Asunnossa on kaikki tarpeellinen vaikka pitempäänkin oleskeluun ja palvelut poikkeuksellisen hyvät, kun taloyhtiössä on mm. sauna ja uima-allas. Keskustaan lyhyt kävely ja asunnon ympäristö hyvin rauhallinen. Vuokraaja hyvin ystävällinen ja kaikki sujui sovitusti.

Vi firade en härlig påsk i vackra omgivningar. Vi njöt utsikten mot den vackra gården från verandan och mot havet från sovrum och vardagsrum. Huset var smakfullt inrett och jätte mysigt på alla sätt. Trots närheten till centrum så vaknade vi varje morgon till härlig tystnad. Vi blev väl emottagna av Jussis föräldrar. Tack 🙂

The only tiny unexpected thing was that it wasn't obvious at the time of booking that you rent just the second floor, not the entire house. This is a truly special place to stay. The house is beautiful, clean and very well-equipped. The views are absolutely stunning! You feel relaxed the moment you walk through the door. The location is very private and quiet. You almost don't want to leave the house because it's so nice, but there are also various fun things to do in the surrounding area, e.g. hiking in Teijo National Park. Communication with the hosts was easy and they provided clear instructions. Very highly recommended!

The hostess was friendly and helpful. The place feels like home- largely someone else’s home and was not sterile or middle of the road. Lots of of stuff and kitchen utensils- have never seen such variety of plates, bowls, knives, cutlery, etc. also variety of spices was amazing. The sauna is simple and if you are not ready to jump to see you need to carry a lot of water. We enjoyed the beauty and simplicity.
