You are going to stay in our small but cozy guest house in the middle of the country site in the village of Birdhill. Its a self contained guest house with a kitchen/living room, small double bedroom and bathroom. We are conveniently located only 10 min away from M7 motorway (exit 27), and 20 min away from Limerick City. Shannon airport 40 min drive. Killaloe/ Ballina which is located only 10min drive from our house is one of the most picturesque village attractions with plenty of restaurants.

Our hosts were helpful and friendly, their knowledge and enthusiasm for the area were an encouragement, to explore more than just our main objective (which was to visit Holy Island Inis Cealtra on Loch Derg). Also… best shower ever!
