This 2 bedroomed private apartment is on the beach - there is some local vegetation in front of you that provides some privacy. This is a light and airy space - The Living room and bedroom sliding doors open onto the garden overlooking the ocean. A garden gate leads you to the beach and our well known local surfspot Point. The space is perfect for adventurous, outdoorsy people who love the beach and enjoys surfing and the ocean. It is very peaceful with the constant sound of the waves around u.

A good place to start is to define Paradise. Heavenly, blissful, a place of extreme beauty, delight and happiness. Brand new home, built high up in the sky (yes we enjoy a good bird's-eye view), of the mountains and ocean, inspired by our flock of flamingos entering Paradise Beach. Escape to nature in a unique way with our secluded, forest getaway. Nestled in the heart of an indigenous forest in the Garden Route, our dome offers a perfect blend of luxury and wilderness. Our Dome is beautifully designed for comfort, with the indulgent outdoor living space blending seamlessly with nature encouraging guests to reconnect, relax and rejuvenate. As much as we would love to welcome all, the setting isn't child friendly and definitely offers a more wonderful getaway for two.

Pear Tree Cottage garden, pond and mountain view

Be enticed by the awakening of your senses. Smell the sweet scent of the flowers and fynbos, the serenade of the frogs, the sight of colorful birds, taste the aroma of fruits and veggies from our vegetable garden and orchard. Ideal for a couple or a couple with a child (not suitable for 3 adults). Mountain, garden, pond (filled with rainfall, season dependent. Not just a room in someone's house or sharing common areas. Your own little piece of tranquility. Our dogs roam freely in the property.

Storms River Tin House

Storms River Village, situated 11km from the Tsitsikamma National Park, is the adventure capital of Tsitsikamma and forms part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route. The unique self-catering Tin House is situated in the garden of a private residence with gate access and on-site parking. A stay of at least two nights is recommended, as there is so much to see and do in the area. Perfect for a couple, a small family, or close friends. Free WiFi. No other guests, the Tin House is all yours!

"Bird Song" private getaway, tucked away in nature

"Bird Song" is named after the host of bird calls that greet you each morning (and the night jars that you hear after dark). It is the perfect 'private bush camp' for a ‘family-of-4’ vacation or for a secluded ‘get-away-from-it-all retreat’ for couples. The architect designed timber structure is set on a slope with views through and over the fynbos and right at the edge of pristine Indigenous Forest. A wood fired fireplace ensures you are (relatively) warm in winter.

Modern luxurious apartment in safe centrally located property with spectacular views of Algoa Bay, close to Collegiate and Grey schools, NMB stadium and Greenacres Hospital and shopping centre. Rooms are private with secure parking, separate from the main house with own entrance. Ideal location for day visits to Addo National Park, either as self drive excursions or guided tours (see guidebook) Close proximity to airport, beachfront and business hub. No children or infants.

Tree-house for two in Natures Valley

Natures Valley offers the best of both worlds - peaceful and unspoilt and yet within a stones throw of the vibrant Garden route towns of Plettenberg Bay (30km) & Knysna (60km). The village itself comprises of just 300 houses, a shop and a restaurant. It is unique in that it is completely surrounded by the Tsitsikama National park. Aside from the stunning beach there is a large lagoon, which makes it ideal for all ages.

A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.

Suikerbossie Mountain Cabin

Soak up the peace and quietness while enjoying the true beauty that nature has to offer. The cabin was completed just before the lockdown. The building of the cabin was started by my husband and completed only 2 years later in remembrance of him.
