This brand new chalet is perched above the car free village of MURREN in the Bernese Oberland outside charming Interlaken. The apartment is the lower floor of the chalet with a spacious living/dining room and large windows that look across the spectacular Lauterbrunnen Valley with its 72 waterfalls to the North Face of the Eiger and the Jungfrau Massif. It offers the best view of any chalet rental in Murren. The Master Bedroom has a king bed and 2 walk in closets leading to the bathroom with shower and tub. On the edge of the living room is a queen wall bed, so the apartment comfortably sleeps 4 . The spiffy fully equipped modern kitchen has granite counter tops, dishwasher, 4 burner stove and oven. The fridge has a freezer. There is a bar with bar stools. The chalet has a wood burning stove and radiant floor heating. In the winter it is essentially ski in/ski out offering ski lockers and boot warmers.. You will love this space in the typical charming Swiss village of Murren. We're adjacent to a wildlife preserve, with daily sightings of graceful charming Chamois, so we cannot accommodate dogs or cats. If you want spacious, quiet, private, cozy and spectacular, this place is for you. World famous hiking and skiing are at the doorstep. And a Peace you've never before experienced. After you check in, you'll be welcomed by our wonderful Property Manager Liza who will help you fill out the Kurtaxe form. While we pay the Kurtaxe for you, you need the filled out form in order to pick up the "Kurkarte" ID card at the Sports Center. With this card you can enjoy the free indoor swimming pool/hot tub plus free ice-skating in the winter. You can also benefit from discounts at various stores.

Luxury apartment with unbeatable views.

Our stunning 2-bedroom, ground floor apartment is located right in the heart of Lauterbrunnen. The sunny terrace offers unique views of both the famous Staubbach Waterfall and the valley itself. In summer enjoy the countless hiking trails; in winter we are perfectly placed in-between the ski areas of Murren-Schilthorn AND Wengen-Grindelwald. We've lived here since the apartment was built in 2012 and we love it; but now we are travelling, so we hope you enjoy your time here as much as we do.

Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

The charming chalet is surrounded by a blanket of snow, showcasing wooden architecture with multiple balconies and windows. Snow-covered trees and a landscaped garden add to the winter scenery. A stone pathway leads up to the entrance, enhancing the inviting nature of the property.

There were friendly neighbors in a quiet village! If you leave the window open, the sounds of nature and the scenery are beautiful! The host kindly shows you how to enter with a video. The parking lot is in a spacious outdoor area, and there is nothing missing in the kitchen. I had a great time for 3 nights and 4 days. I look forward to seeing you again on my next trip to Switzerland:)

One of the best Airbnb’s we have ever stayed in. Sungalow was beautiful and clean and had every essential item you would need while traveling. The views are unbelievable! Nicolas and Kristy were proactive in their communication and very friendly and helpful. The hosts have thought of everything and more to make your stay comfortable! They were very responsive and went above and beyond to help us with some additional items we needed. The space was clean and peaceful. We cooked every morning and almost every night, and we had everything we needed. The sofa bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on! As others noted, it is quite a walk (and mostly uphill on the way from town). Definitely recommend calling the taxi when you arrive to make it easier with luggage (and locating the house) - we thought we could do it and it was tough! Recommend their place above and beyond - just make sure you’ve considered that lengthy walk at the beginning and end of day, especially if you have kids and if weather is rainy (as it was most of our stay).

Lovely apartment just outside Lauterbrunnen, with very friendly host family. Were easy to reach by phone, had no problem with the fact that we arrived 2 days later due to illness. The location of the apartment is just outside of Lauterbrunnen, but you can take the bus right at your doorstep to Stechelberg or Lauterbrunnen for free (every 30 minutes in winter). The apartment had everything you need and was very cozy. The hosts live above the apartment, so are super easy to reach and were also extremely accommodating otherwise. Would definitely do that again!
