Vacation rentals with a kayak in Truckee

The house was very nice and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. It would be a great place to stay during ski season, unfortunately the mountain closed the day we arrived. You could walk to a very nice rec center as well. It was nice to have all the streaming services on the TV. The kitchen was very well stocked which is important to us since we love to cook. Lori was very responsive to any questions.

Amazing lakefront property and best place we’ve stayed in Tahoe yet! Incredible views from the main living space. Ryan, the host was extremely accommodating and responsive our entire stay. The use of paddle boards and the dock was a hit with our kids. We paddled to Garwoods, a must on every visit for our family. We had everything we needed from beach towels to kitchen utensils & the bbq. We are very appreciative to Ryan & his family for sharing their lake house with us to make our own memories and we hope to return in the future!

Alice’s place was a perfect fit for our family. It was spacious yet cozy, remote and peaceful, yet conveniently located, and had all the amenities and touches of home. We had the best time sledding at the local hill she recommended to us, skiing at sugarbowl a quick drive away, and cooking delicious meals in their open concept kitchen. Not to mention the hot tub! Highly recommend.

This place was great for our family get together. Easy access to everything Donner Lake has to offer. 5 minutes to downtown Truckee. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the deck with a view of the lake. Well furnished with lots of amenities and responsive hosts. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

Ankur was such an amenable, sweet responsive host. He was easy and laid-back, but also provided everything that we needed and got back to us promptly with answers to any questions we had. The property was beautiful and as described. Clean sheets and towels in every room and bathroom. Super close to town and easy to get to.

A true gem in Lake Tahoe! A beautifully serene landscape in a quiet and charming neighborhood. Super close to the lake and river which was incredible for our family! We appreciated the great communication from Clark and the cleanliness of the home. Very thoughtful suggestions and instructions throughout the home. It was perfect for our family of 5. Kathleen were fantastic Host. She communicated well, instructions were professional and very detail. Best part of the stay was the Newly setup spa tub, we enjoyed it a lot and it was relaxing after the end of the day trip to enjoy it. Thanks and look forward to staying here again !

Great stay at the cozy cabin. Everything was great except the bathroom part where there was no common toilet/bathroom.

Steven was very friendly, easy to reach and fast responses. The cabin is quaint and comfortable, if the couch was a bit bigger might be more comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and being that we stayed in for dinners was fantastic, the stove and hood system was amazing! Loved the bedrooms in the upstairs loft, super cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely return and appreciate Steven's communication and overall positive approach!

Marinas place is a Great serene lakes cabin. Good vibes and super tidy decor and amenities. Top notch kitchen. Lovely great room with cozy fireplace. Helpful friendly host and clear instructions to make the most of the stay.

Wow! What a gorgeous cabin and location. We really enjoyed our weekend at Leah's house. It's beautifully decorated, has high-end appliances throughout and everything was spotless. Entry/exit was easy and there was garage parking for our car. The cabin even has a view of Donner lake.

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect cabin for our stay. It was less than 10 minutes away from Boreal Ski area where we were going each day so extremely convenient. More importantly, though, was the thought put into every detail in the cabin. Anything we possibly needed was there. It was as if I had supplied everything from our own home which is a relief when staying with a family of six far from home. There was plenty of space so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other also. The wood burning fireplace stocked with all needed fire and starters was such a bonus and so appreciated on the super cold nights. I highly recommend this cabin and hope to come back again in the summer to enjoy it in another beautiful season.

Cozy spacious home. The view on Christmas day was amazing. White ❄️ snow. The home is perfect for large families. The house was fully furnished from the kitchen to the bed rooms and the bathrooms. My family fully enjoyed our stayed. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay in Lake Tahoe! This place worked out very well for my husband and our two boys, ages 7&5! We felt like we were close to many activities and loved the privacy of the backyard hot tub after the kiddos went to bed. Place was clean and cozy and had all the amenities of home. Host was responsive and even recommended some hikes that were kid friendly! Would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again!

The house is just as described. Very cute and rustic, beds were extremely comfortable! Very well stocked for cooking meals and plenty of space to relax. The neighborhood is beautiful — very peaceful and private. Very little traffic going by.
