Relax in our cute cottage nestled on a wooded hill overlooking a 187 acre rural lake; a great "home base" while exploring SW Michigan (Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan). Numerous golf courses, wineries, breweries nearby. Enjoy plenty of seasonal family activities. Near two ski resorts, Bittersweet and TimberRidge and driving distance to WMU and K College. Check out Allegan county fair and kal haven trail! Our cottage is an unplugged experience with no WiFi, but good cell reception.

You will be located 2 minutes from I-94 and within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, pubs, bookstores, ice cream, and a beautiful park (15 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride). The home is located off a well-traveled two lane road that connects Kalamazoo and Portage. Large unfenced lot with fire pit. Please note we have 1 WINDOW air conditioner in the unit.

Cottage is located by Brandywine Lake (we are not directly on the lake, behind is a wooded area which backs up to the lake), perfect for fishing, as we are close to the boat launch. "OTT"law Escape!

Bittersweet ski lodge is literally in the back yard. Less than a 1/4 mile to entrance. Kalamazoo River is across the street with a kayak/canoe launch just a 1/4 mile away. We have kayaks available to rent at a minimal cost and can provide drop off and pick up. There is a fire pit that can be used. There are 8 campsites on the property, 5 with 30 amp service and 3 with 20 amp that are available at additional costs. The Lynx golf course is about 5 miles away.
