The apartment or holiday house, which we named "BEe in foREST", is located at the end of the village of Klenik near Pivka on the outskirts of Natura 2000, in the lap of nature, with which we are closely connected. It is made of mostly natural materials. The ground floor of the house, along with the bathroom, is accessible and adapted for people with disabilities. From the ground floor, you climb the wooden staircase to the attic, which, in addition to the bedroom with a balcony and a view of the meadows, also offers a sauna and a bathtub for additional relaxation.

The apartment has wonderful high arched ceilings. The main room is very comfortable with two windows facing the loggia. This gives the apartment a unique, slightly hidden character, which offers a quiet retreat right in the lively heart of the old town, yet completely hidden from the bustle of noisy city life. The house is located in the pedestrian zone on the riverside. Sunday mornings there is a market for antiquities in front of the house, turning into a local Christmas market all December.

This had been our family home for 14 years until 2013 when we moved to Germany and we love spending our summers there. Another monument worth visiting is 20 minute drive to Lipica and its Lipizzan stud farm. Nature lovers will find our little village calming as you can walk around safely. For cyclists there are many marked routes around Zavrhek, mostly passing through woods and meadows. Our apartment can accommodate up to 4 people.
