Cabin vacation rentals in Trinity Lake

I have never been excited to write a review before but here it goes, this place was magnificent! A beautiful cabin setting overlooking the sacramento arm of lake Shasta with a private dock, kayaks and life vests to use free of charge, this place must be on some kind of energetic lay line because the vibe was so good! I would definitely come back, also I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway for sure!

Scott and Julie have such a wonder property with multiple cottages of all sizes of group, which they have painstakingly maintained for multiple years. Scott I hom I interfaced with multiple times since the time I initially booked my cottage in February of 2023 had been super nice and helpful in multiple times addressing our request to change our reservation as after 4 hops in calendar time across March, June, July we finally made it in September and as a last minute curve ball I asked him to swap us to a larger cottage a day before heading to Lakehead and he was more than happy to accommodate. The hospitality and care showcased by him and Julie was none above anyone I have ever stayed at AirBnB at. The cottage was a lovely 2 bedroom cabin overlooking a quite calm end of lake shasta and was nicely tugged at the back of the property. This place is awesome and gawking at the night sky and then enjoy the deer walk by the property in the early hours of the morning was breathtaking. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏😊

Great stay, amazing location, spotless, and cozy

A well priced, peaceful cabin in the woods, just on the banks of the lake. Two decent sized bedrooms and a good shower room. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen which was very welcome. The host was very flexible when we had to turn up slightly later than initially expected. WiFi and signal here slightly patchy but overall a very good stay!

What a magical retreat Amy and Miles have created! My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed a couple of nights before she headed to summer camp, and it was the perfect spot for quality bonding time. Maddie, their sweet brown Lab, greeted us warmly upon our arrival and kept us company throughout our stay. Amy was an exceptional hostess, leaving us a lovely handwritten note and thoughtful gemstones that made us feel truly welcomed. The separate cabins are both unique and practical, equipped with everything we needed. We loved discovering delightful touches like olive oil and flaked sea salt, fresh herbs, vases of cut flowers, and ice-cold Capri Suns that my daughter enjoyed! Amy and her lovely mom, who was visiting, graciously took us on a hike around their property, which was an absolute pleasure. They were both so knowledgeable and fun! I can’t wait to spend more time in this peaceful haven and explore the area further before picking up my daughter from camp. I’m truly charmed!

Our stay was perfect, everything went great and not just the house but also the surroundings and the proximity (just a few feet away) to the lake were amazing

If you have this place on your wish list or are considering staying here, DO IT! It's one of the most amazing AirBNBs we've ever stayed at. The home is lovely, the location was spectacular and the pool just takes the cake. We were a group of two families (4 adults and 4 kids aged 2-8) Plenty of room for all of us. We visited during a time of bad weather which was fine because the house is so cozy and there was plenty for us to do at the property. The location is the perfect launch pad for lots of outdoor adventures. On the days we stayed in, the kids were easily able to busy themselves with all the activities and games in the house. Beds were comfy and the kitchen was stocked well enough to support the meals we made! We stopped in Redding on the way in to get our groceries (as a heads up there isn't a grocery store nearby!) The neighbor was so helpful and even had some firewood available for us when we arrived. Can't wait to come back!

Had a wonderful stay at cave springs! Loved the communal area for games, fire pits, hammocks, playground and easy to walk around. Fun place for families! The place was great and would stay here again!

What a great spot. huge, fully fenced back yard. the rooms are big and there is plenty of room for teenagers and dogs. beautiful place, very comfortable. I'm from Mt. Shasta and stayed here while visiting family. I will definitely be staying again.

Our family had a wonderful time at Heidi and Steph's place to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Heidi and Steph really made us feel like at home. They're the most wonderful hosts we've ever met. The view from the front porch, facing the river, is beautiful. Great place for fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. We caught 6 trouts in two days. Yay! Thank you for showing us the spots and for everything else that made our trip an amazing one.

Great cabins! They were comfortable and clean, with lots of little personal touches. Great decor. Kids loved the fire pits, bocce and being so close to the river. Staff were helpful and responsive. Very relaxing. Would definitely come again!

Peace and quiet surrounded by the woods and beautiful vistas. Only a 5 minute drive from Dunsmuir, avoiding the disruptive sounds of the trains that run through town.

This location is fantastic! It offers ample space and is conveniently situated near numerous attractions and points of interest to explore in Dunsmuir. Whether you're looking to discover local shops, scenic views, or nearby parks, everything is just a short distance away..

We had a wonderful stay! There were only four of us and there was room for more. The kitchen was well stocked and Kavian is an excellent communicator. Very responsive, friendly and accommodating.

Bonanza King Cabin is such a gem for anyone who would like to spent precious time with love ones. Janelle and her husband is very accommodating. Super clean, well organize and complete amenities. I would like to come again and bring the rest of my family here. The creek is super close few steps only and super special place to be where you can experience nature calmness and peace. There are lots of chairs , swing close to the creek plus their basketball court too. We didn’t have to drive around the area because we enjoyed just staying inside the cabin or within the resort. Our drive is well worth it. Thank you for Janelle family for making this a great place to be.

We had a wonderful stay at Meghan’s cabin. It’s in a beautiful area too. Meghan was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond when we had car troubles. We cannot thank her enough for a great stay and for all her help!

Amazing stay right on the Sacramento River. Peaceful nice neighborhood

This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here! The home was beautiful and looked exactly like the photos. We had a little issue but Christie responded quickly and was able to send someone the next day to fix it. It was easy to find and the Oasis Center next door was perfect for us to walk over to enjoy some activities. The noise level from the center surprisingly wasn’t bothersome at all. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay here again!
