Beautiful stay with an amazing view!

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

This family stay went extremely well; we enjoyed Luca's accommodation which perfectly matched the description. The charming asset: the spa and jacuzzi with stunning views of the lake. 😍 A big thank you to co-hosts Andrea and Carla for their kindness and responsiveness in exchanges before, during and after our stay. What a beautiful view—this place is truly magical, especially if you’re visiting with a significant other. In my case, I was here to make appointments for a property I recently purchased, and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. It was peaceful, calming, and a welcome escape between meetings. A serene atmosphere with stunning surroundings—I couldn’t have asked for more.

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

Sonia's Airbnb is breathtaking. The view of Lake Como is even more beautiful than the photos in the listing. Sonia is a wonderful host - she provides recommendations, answered all of my questions and always made sure that we had everything we needed. I wished we had explored the lake with her on her sailboat so if you get the opportunity I would book it! The only thing I would advise future renters is that the road to Sonia's Airbnb in Brunate is VERY, VERY narrow and winds around and around. It is very easy to get lost and go down the wrong street. If you're renting car, try to get the smallest car possible - it will help you to maneuver the narrows roads. There is a funicular stop close to the house so you could walk there and take it to Como or to the top of Brunate. It is much easier to get off at the top of Brunate and walk downhill to the house. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway.

Perfect home for a relaxing break. The apartment is magical, with a beautiful enclosed garden with a lovely hot tub overlooking beautiful Como. Lene was the perfect host, communicating with us regularly following booking and meeting us at the property upon check in. He also had lots of lovely recommendations for the local area and restaurants. The pool is shared but we had this to ourselves at one point as there are only four other residences on the complex. The garage for parking is helpful as our car felt secure. We will definitely be back, thank you for a wonderful stay!

The house is very neat and tidy with spectacular view of the mountain and lake from the huge balcony. Antonio is a great host : he is super friendly, provided information with clear instructions and picture, speeded up process for us to check in. This is a beautiful apartment in a prime location that has a parking spot, but you don't need a car. The apartment is a very short walk to the lake ferry service, the town square and a C10 bus stop. You can walk to Menaggio Piazza Roma Bus station in under 10 minutes if you want to take the bus to Lugano, Switzerland. The apartment is beautiful, with historic decor and modern conveniences and a lovely terrace. You can hear some street noises, but the apartment is very private. Roxana is very easy to communicate with. Thank you Roxana! We enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable and quiet accommodation with excellent host. Views are as pictures show and lovely to relax on small balcony. Having asthma and slight mobility problem I did struggle with the 10 minute walk, all uphill, from town to home. The only other route consisted of 97 uneven stairs, the middle section being unlit. The apartment is twenty stairs up with no handrail. Taxi fare at night was only 10 euros so not a major problem. Also the C30 bus passes at the top of the road.

4 nights didn’t feel enough and we left with such a heavy heart. Laura’s place is breathtaking and pictures don’t do it any justice. We were so sad to leave the tranquil and peaceful villa. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this and look forward to going back.

We spent 10 days in the beautiful apartment, which left nothing to be desired. The view is fantastic, the location quiet and idyllic. You could buy the essentials in a few minutes in a small nearby shop. We highly recommend the place. If you're looking for a break, you'll find it there.

Glenda was one of the best hosts we had in Italy. She was so kind, responsive, great restaurant reservations and even changes we had to make. We loved her outside decks it was so peaceful and beautiful. We would go back again. I call her my friend if she comes tomorrow visit us in California. Love her. A Hidden Gem on Lake Como – Unforgettable Stay at La Cava, Pognana Lario We spent 4 nights at La Cava in Pognana Lario, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This unique property, seemingly built around the 1960s, is unlike anything we've seen before. Anchored into the mountain itself with dramatic concrete beams and columns, the building has a bold architectural character that blends surprisingly well into the natural surroundings. It’s something you truly have to see to appreciate. The apartment itself carries a charming, historical vibe—perfect for those who appreciate classic design over ultra-modern aesthetics. It's well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, making it feel like a true home away from home. But the absolute highlight of the stay was the breathtaking view of Lake Como—an unbeatable panorama that alone is worth the trip. If you're looking for a place that offers tranquility, character, and unmatched views of Lake Como. Highly recommended!

The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

Trillion dollar views of Lake Como in the best village of the region. Walk down the medieval lane way from the villa directly through to Argegno’s piazza. Honestly, this was the perfect place to base yourself for your Como experience without batting away thousands of tourists. Highly recommend.

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. Check-in went very smoothly. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

Absolutely LOVED staying at Anna's apartment! We adored Argegno - a lovely historic town that was much quieter than surrounding towns. Anna's apartment was spacious and the terrace and views were breathtaking. Anna was a wonderful host who was very quick to communicate. We would definitely stay again.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, the view was breathtaking, and somehow, everything was even better than the photos. But what truly made this experience unforgettable was our host, Christian. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond carrying our bags, getting us reservations at the best restaurants, and even arranging transportation. One of the restaurants even surprised me with a birthday candle! Christian had clearly gone the extra mile to make it special. Every detail was thoughtful, every need anticipated. Between the service, the location, and the care we were shown, this stay exceeded every expectation. Absolutely worth it.

We’ve had a fantastic stay at this apartment!. The view was phenomenal!!!. The apartment itself was perfect for our group, plenty of space and 3 balconies where we could admire the views of the lake. The apartment is in such a perfect position and location. It is definitely THE BEST view of the lake. We did have a car and found this useful but it’s only a 20-25 min walk (uphill) and in my opinion it wasn’t too bad. Varenna was lovely, the scenery absolutely stunning and it’s been an amazing trip!. The hosts were great and had great communication. Thanks again for a great stay! We would recommend!

Perfect place for our group of 2 couples. One bedroom large and the other small but had a bathroom each. Air conditioning was welcome as it was warmer than we were expecting. Very small, one person kitchen that had everything we needed. Amazing dining room in the tower and very special balcony where we had dinner each evening. A bonus for an airbnb was the included buffet breakfast in the hotel.

The stay was great. From the accommodation, the view of the lake is fantastic and the pool location is very neat.
