Our precious and cozy hideaway is located very close to the center of Bad Ischl in a real quiet and safe area. 2 separate bedrooms and a living room with a homely seating area and comfy furniture will give you a "homelike" feeling. It is perfect for a 2 to 4 person occupancy. A sleeping couch in the living room also allows a fifth person in the apartment.

The apartment is child/family friendly and a non-smoking environment.

Spacy apartment near the Danube Valley

Our apartment is located in the beautiful village of Niederkappel, up in the heights of the Mühlviertel right behind the Danube Valley between Passau and Linz. Important information for bikers traveling on the Danube cycle path: From the Danube banks (Obermühl) it's a 3km steep, exhausting climb up to Niederkappel. If you are fit enough for that, you are very welcome to stay at our place. The views down onto the Danube will compensate for the efforts.

Ab Mittag genießen Sie die Sonne auf dem wunderschönen weitläufigen Balkon. Der Lift bringt unsere Gäste in den ersten Stock, in welchem sich unser liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment befindet.

The 40 square meter apartment has just been renovated. It is on the second floor directly next to the river Traun and includes a free parking spot right in front of the house. It is less than 10 minutes on foot to the Gmunden town square. You can swim in the calm river, start your hike straight from the house and in winter quickly reach various ski resorts by car (Kasberg 25 minutes, Feuerkogel 20 minutes, Gosau 50 minutes).

Our Bacherlhaus became what it is now with a lot of sweat, love and with an eye on resource conservation: a refuge from the fast pace of everyday life.
