A nest in the mountains

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

Monika’s place was lovely. It was large and very comfortable. It is surrounded by nature. We had donkeys come up the fence every day. It had a very large terrace. Monika was very helpful. We loved the place. It is remote and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a very good stay for one week at Guiomar's house. It is very peaceful, the gardens are beautiful and the views in the surrounding area are amazing. It is very remote, but it was perfect for escaping and for us to see a different area. The house would be perfect for a larger group but as a couple it was functional as well.

Edu goes the extra distance by providing a real home away from home. Relaxed. Comfortable. Friendly. Location provides an extra bonus if you are visiting Bilbao. Easy access by incredible low cost metro to the city. But also provides access to the seaside villages on the Atlantic coast. Which are quite wonderful.
