Vacation rentals in Tranholmen

We had the best time at Annika's beautiful cabin! Nestled on the islet of Storholmen it's the perfect place for a tranquil break. The ferry from Ropsten takes about half an hour on the way out to Storholmen sidra. The cabin is idyllic and had absolutely everything we needed. It's well laid out, warm and comfortable and Annika had clearly thought of everything you might possibly need for your stay. The upstairs mezzanine is where the beds are which were really comfortable and cosy and we slept really well. The steps may be a little challenging though for those with limited mobility but were no bother for us. We fell in love with the cabin and the island and enjoyed watching the bats in the evening and looking out over the tranquil waters at night. We went for a morning dip in the sea every day and were so sad to leave it all behind to resume our normal lives. Great space for a larger group - the hosts were very nice and even left us some Prosecco and chocolates for our arrival. The house has plenty of amenities and felt like a home from home. Lovely open plan kitchen and dining area and local shops and deli are convenient. Djursholm is a classy and upmarket neighbourhood to stay in yet not far away from the city or local malls. Highly recommend the kids play centre called Flip Out in the Westfield Täby centrum ;) Morris the cat was also a favourite for the kids… such a nice cat! Would recommend a stay here.

Für uns als Familie (mit erwachsenen/ Teeanagerkindern) war es absolut perfekt. Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Insel besteht nur aus Sommerhäusern und ist idyllisch ruhig - und das herrliche Stockholm liegt ganz nah. Das Haus entsprach vollauf unserem Geschmack: ein schwedisch-modernes Sommerhaus, in dem wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt haben. Lotta ist sehr freundlich und hat immer sofort auf alle Fragen reagiert. (Anmerkung: Der Zugang zur Insel per Ruderboot und vor allem auch zum Haus selbst (sehr viele steile Stufen) ist nur etwas für Menschen, die sehr gut zu Fuß und in gewissem Maße sportlich sind. Alles Gepäck - und alle Einkäufe - müssen per Boot und zu Fuß getragen werden. Es gibt keinen Laden auf der Insel. )

Wir waren super zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Moa und ihre Familie sind sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage auf der Insel ist ein besonderes Erlebnis und einfach traumhaft, die Stadt ist von da aus gut zu erreichen. Wir können den Aufenthalt bei ihr sehr empfehlen!

Lotta’s place is without a doubt the nicest accommodation I’ve had on Storholmen so far. The cabin is small and very cozy, and you can feel the warmth and care in every detail. Communication was just right, and I was given my space – my privacy was respected. This allowed me to truly relax and unwind. The convenient connection to the ferry and to the city is a big advantage, making it easy to find a good balance between activity and peaceful quietness.

Wir hatten als vierköpfige Familie eine wunderschöne Zeit in Madeleines schönem Häuschen! Ihr Mann Michael hat uns mit dem Boot abgeholt und ist dann noch Lebensmittel mit uns kaufen gefahren, inklusive Spezialitätenempfehlungen; einen besseren Start in die Weihnachtsferien konnten wir gar nicht haben. Das Haus ist genau so wie beschrieben, ebenso die Ausstattung. Wenn wir fragen hatten, konnten wir uns jederzeit an Michael oder Madeleine wenden. Die Aussicht auf das Wasser ist traumhaft und die Fährfahrt nach Stockholm ein Highlight für die ganze Familie. Olof’s place were perfect for my stay in Stockholm. Lidingö is a lovely, green and quiet place just 30 Minutes from the center of Stockholm. Olof is a great Host. He was proactive and responded to my questions quickly. Thank you for the stay!

Charlotte’s apartment is beautiful. Inside it is cosy and warm, with large windows to get fresh air and listen to the birds just outside. The bed is comfy; the location is perfect and quiet. The subway is a very short walk and takes just a few minutes to reach the center of Stockholm where you can explore or get a connecting train to elsewhere. Charlotte is friendly and helpful and proactive in communicating. The decor choices are outstanding and thoughtful, we both were inspired by the interior design of Charlotte’s apartment. It is very quiet at night, away from the noise of the city. The surrounding area is beautiful with plenty of green spaces, we even saw a Hare one evening loping through the path just outside the apartment! :) I would recommend Charlottes apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing break in Stockholm - we would book again!
