Twisted Sister's Retreat

ChristyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We were in town for a girls get away with some hiking and Twisted Sister was perfect! Such a beautiful setting and so close to the places we wanted to go. It was super easy to get in, very clean, and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves as we prefer to do. We also enjoyed strawberries from Flamm Orchard, and great hikes at nearby Little Grand Canyon and Cove Hollow, plus of course Giant City State Park. Candace was an excellent hostess. She lives next door but gave us complete privacy. And when I had questions or wanted recommendations she was super responsive. It made us feel safe and cared for. It is so nice that she shares her beautiful property with guests in this way. We will be back!

Wine trail, views, hot tub, pool…

ErikaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Four of us stayed in Lisa's place for the weekend and we had more than enough space. The outdoor area was definitely our favorite amenity. Sitting outside anytime of the day with a beautiful view of the bluffs was special. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. It was a wonderful time.

Modern Cabin at Trillium Ridge

CallieRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This place was literally perfection! The home was so well thought out, and the small things that the host did really stood out. The location is perfect for a few days away from busy lives and just a slower pace of life. It’s the kind of place you want to tell everyone about but also keep it as your secret getaway. We will be back Hope around the fall. I can only imagine how stunning it is then!

The Bitty House One, next to a winery!

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Bitty House was absolutely incredible! So peaceful and comfortable. We loved sitting on the porch at night drinking wine and watching the cross and waking up Easter morning to the beautiful music over the valley! Definitely planning on coming back!

Vulture's Roost at the Makanda Boardwalk

BrookRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place has got to be one of our favorite stays. The historic building was so neat to stay in and Taylor has thought of everything - from muffins, eggs, water, qtips, etc. The decor was incredible and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and the shower was equipped with all the necessities. 10/10 stay. Oh - and only like a two minute drive from a state park!

Cedar Lake Retreat

I went to SIUC many many years ago and never visited Giant City. We came down to visit the campus and Giant City and Theresa’s place allowed us to bring our pet and was a great location. It was clean and nicely decorated at a good price.

The Cottage, Rusted Route Farms

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 months ago
It was a lovely place to stay! It was beautifully decorated and kept. Even with another event, that they were very forward with beforehand, it was still a quiet night. Only thing that turned us off was the amount of dead bugs that were all over the floor, lots of ladybugs or ladybug like bugs dead and all over the living room/kitchen/dining room area.
