The "haus in spay" is a historic half-timbered house, built around 1545 in the Moselle village of Zell-Merl. It is located near the river at the foot of a sun-drenched southern slope on the Moselle, the well-known wine region with unique Riesling cultivation and Mediterranean culture. The monumental ensemble with the main house, the vacation home and the steep garden was extensively restored in almost 10 years of construction and mainly in-house according to ecological and traditional criteria.

The place has direct access to numerous hiking trails and lots of nature. The old town is a 2-minute walk away, where there is a lot of history, delicious food and various wineries to explore. The Moselle riverbank is a 3-minute walk away with connections for boat trips or a few nice walks. Traben-Trarbach is a small paradise with lots of greenery and romantic flair. For bicycles, e-bikes, etc., there is a closed storage facility on the premises.

It has a separate entrance via an external staircase as well as a private roof terrace where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun in the morning or end the day relaxed with a glass of wine. Quiet and close to the Moselle, you can reach the train station, gastronomy and shopping on foot.
