Alternativa piacevole al trasporto pubblico tradizionale può essere l'uso dei battelli della navigazione del Lago di Como, con partenza da Piazza Cavour in direzione Torno, da dove camminando per circa 15 min raggiungerete la destinazione. It can be reached by public transport: buses C30 C31 C32 departing approximately every hour from the Como San Giovanni railway station, Como Lago Ferrovie Nord or from Piazza Matteotti towards Como-Bellagio, take about 8 minutes to reach the Blevio stop - Decorations Savio, about 100 m away from the house. A pleasant alternative to traditional public transport may be the use of Lake Como navigation boats, departing from Piazza Cavour in the direction of Torno, from where walking for about 15 minutes you will reach the destination. I ALLOW ME TO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SMALLEST AND CHEAPEST CAR, TO MOVE INDEPENDENTLY, AS IN OUR AREA PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND TAXIS ARE NOT COFORTABLE Villa Pasta The villa was built in the early XIX cen- tury and was bought in 1830 by the famous opera singer Giuditta Pasta hosting space for its several guests. In the park the fol lowing built: the studio painting of Clelia, Giuditta's daughter, who attended the Brera Academy in Milan; the cafe-house, a small cave to cool in the summer; the wooden theater where Giuditta practised singing. Captain Wilhelm Locke, grandson of the famous philosopher, drowned in front of his wife and other guests in the lake area in front of the villa. Later his daughter erected a gravestone in his memory. In the small ceme- tery of Blevio it is possible to visit the grave of Giuditta Pasta who died in 1865.

This loft is located on a quiet road, just ten minutes walk from the beautiful Torno's Harbour where you will find bars and restaurants. The town of Como is only 7km away and it is easily reachable by bus or by boat. At the moment Torno's Harbour is closed for maintenance. According to the authorities, it should be reopened the first week of May.

This place is fantastic! Being right on Lake Como is magical. We slept with the doors open and enjoyed the sound of the birds chirping and the waves lapping on the boats all night. The home is an interesting blend of modern and antique which we enjoyed. We had two kiddos with us and they loved having their own rooms & bathrooms. I highly recommend booking lunch at Hotel Passalacqua as it is only a 7 minute walk away and INSANELY FABULOUS! We had a great (and way more affordable LOL) dinner at the Veranda at Hotel Posta. There are apparently nice hikes around the town but I didn't figure that out till just before we left. We did a private boat tour of the lake and our boat driver picked us up at the house which worked very well. My only tips for future renters is to have a small car because parking is tight (we did fine with a small SUV) and bring your own shampoo and soap because what they provide is very minimal. You will enjoy this Airbnb!

Parfait le logement est vraiment super. Les lits sont confortables la terrasse en haut est vraiment paisible. Les salles de bains sont confortables. Le village de Torno est paisible avec son belvédère à côté de la maison et le restaurant très authentique.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Daniel seiner Unterkunft! Tolle Aussicht und tolles Haus. Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist steil und hat kein Parkplatz, ist aber wenn man fit ist nicht wirklich schlimm. Das einzig negative ist das das Leitungswasser sehr trüb war und zum Teil dreckig. Sonst top! Danke für diese schöne Unterkunft, sehr zu empfehlen.

The communication was perfect, Davide always responded super quickly and gave very detailed, helpful instructions. The flat was lovely, just perfect for two people. The flat is not located in a busy, buzzing place, like other some of the towns in Lake Como but we preferred that. We could walk to the ferry in Urio or Moltrasio and get around easily. Some gorgeous restaurants close by. Thank you Davide and Benedicta, we'd lvoe to come back one day :).

Beautiful location, right outside of the Torno port with incredible water views. Despite the location, we did not notice any noise from the hustle and bustle of the port which was great. Check in could have been more convenient and seamless if there was flexibility for a self check in. We’ve landed at MXP with 3 children and had to re-route to a different location 15 minutes from the Airbnb to meet with the host so that she can check our IDs. Not sure if this is standard, because we’ve already uploaded all of our information to a portal/link the host provided prior. This extra meeting felt unnecessary and quite inconvenient, considering the long day of travel we’ve already had, and now added time + money for the Uber ride. Other than this, everything else was great.
