The log house has fresh air, you'll get a good night's sleep. A respite from the midst of a rush, a bunch of people. The location is central: 1 hour drive to Helsinki, 30 min to Hyvinkää., Hämeenlinna 40 min. The house is from 1914. The spirit of the villa is a bit like a detached house and cottage in the semi-detached area. A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Our small (37 m2) but comfortable cottage includes small kitchen with all amenities included, big traditional finnish sauna, bathroom and tiny toilet. A/C (movable device, on request) makes your stay pleasant also in summer and the cottage is heated year around. For sleeping there is one queen bed (160 cm). Baby bed and one mattress 80x200cm available if needed. For safety reasons the hosts will warm up the sauna for you (house rules).

We had a lovely and relaxed weekend. Place was comfortable, fully equipped and plenty of space indoor and outdoor. Own yard with games and bbq. The place is suitable for families. The village has basic needs as grocery and pharmacy. Just the perfect place to spend time with together with friends or family. Host was proactive and responsive. We didn't meet in person, but got plenty of tips to do in the area and Hämeenlinna.

Very nice modern place in a nice location. Check-in and check-out were negotiated very flexibly because we had challenges with schedules. I recommend this place for travelers in Hml. A shop and, for children, a sandbox/swing right next door.
