A 125-year-old farmhouse renovated with traditional construction methods. Surrounded by vineyards and rice fields at the foot of Mt. Hayachine, one of Japan's 100 most famous mountains. We accept reservations for one group per day. The maximum number of people who can stay here is 10 people. It is often used as a base for Tohoku trips by classmates, company colleagues, and multiple families. Please relax in the spacious space. Of course, even one person can stay privately. Please let us know by message at the time of booking, as children under 12 years old will be charged a reduced rate of 3,300 yen (tax included) per person per day. We will change the amount after the discount. In addition, as a discount for consecutive nights, guests who stay 3 nights or more at the adult rate will receive a discount of 500 yen per person per day from the 3rd night. Children's rates are not eligible. After booking, we will change the amount after the discount.

Lien Tono, located in the Satoyama of Tono City, Iwate Prefecture, is a farmhouse inn where you can spend time in a private building. At night, under the campfire and the starry sky, you can relax in the wood-fired sauna and surrender yourself to the tranquility. All you will hear is the sound of the wind and the sound of insects. The owner is a storyteller of Tono ancient tales. While sitting around a campfire in an old private house, we tell real stories from Tono's past based on the "Tono Monogatari". During the day, you can enjoy a kayak and SUP experience at a private dam lake with the owner who has been kayaking for 30 years, and a short excursion to a shrine quietly standing in the forest. Meals are home-style and healthy, and we also cater to vegetarians and vegans. Please have a special time experiencing the nature and life of Tono and the stories.
