Built in 1898, this Machiya house retains its quaintness and is decorated in a modern style, mixing interiors from various nationalities and eras. "Kazuemachi" is a quiet town, not crowded with tourists. Please relax in the calming atmosphere of the traditional Japanese room, unwind in the authentic ‘hinoki’ wood bathtub made of fragrant cypress.

Stay in a cozy 40-year-old Showa-era house in a quiet residential area of southern Toyama. It feels like visiting your aunt’s countryside home—simple, warm, and nostalgic. Perfect base for sightseeing: 30 min from Toyama Station, 15 min to Yatsuo (Owara Festival), 40 min to Tateyama, 1 hr to Kanazawa or Himi. Hot springs are just 10 min away. It is a lender of an old private house, scattered village of 100 years in Toyama Construction. No meals are provided, but please use kitchen or American size barbecue set freely. A 5-minute walk from Tonami Station. This building, constructed in the early Showa period, was renovated from a former dining hall founded in the Meiji era. Enjoy a quiet moment in this renovated house featuring a sunken bath, lattice ceiling, and garden. This guest room spans 134.16 square meters and accommodates up to 5 guests. Equipped with two semi-double beds and three single beds, it promises a comfortable and pleasant stay for families or friends (^ ^).

Private Kominka / Sake Tasting / 30 min Kanazawa

This Taisho-era house, once a shop, home, and storehouse, is now a guesthouse. We can share its history if you are interested. Some original items remain. The storehouse is now a small sake bar. We offer free sake tasting, or tea and sweets. Local people also visit on weekends. Two major shrines are within walking distance. Tsurugi and Nomachi Stations are 30 minutes apart by train. Kanazawa Station is 40–50 minutes from Tsurugi, with a transfer.
