I used it for the second time. Kitchens, facilities, cutlery, hot springs, footbaths, karaoke, I think it's really great.

I stayed with 5 men this time. First of all, the host is very kind and polite. The room was also one of the most beautiful and spacious rooms I have ever stayed in. The equipment was also up-to-date, so I had a comfortable stay. The price is also cheap and modest, making it the best accommodation. If you're coming to Toba, don't hesitate!

I used it for two nights and three days for a trip with friends. I was able to use the hot springs, and the room was spacious and comfortable.

It’s such a nice place to stay in the forest. The private onsen is the bonus. Will surely come back again.

This is the only inn in Japan where you can have a loud sauna and a midnight fire chat.It was perfect for having a fun time with friends.We would love to come again if we have the opportunity. p.s. Please ignore the bugs

Great accommodation away from the city. We arrived with a rental car, and there was a parking spot right at the doorstep. Everything was clean. Ideal for relaxing taking in the beautiful surroundings. We hope to come back! :)

We were traveling with 2 couples and had a car. After 2 weeks of busy cities and small guesthouses, we wanted a home we could cook dinner, linger at the dinner table, sit outside and play board games. We found that surprisingly hard to find in Japan. This home was modern, comfortable and has it all to hang out as a family or small group of friends. It’s on a busy road but you don’t hear it at all. But it did let us sit outside and play mellow music and enjoy the evenings. Osam is a host in an old school way, checking in regularly to make sure you are enjoying yourself and to offer assistance. The location is relatively close to Nara Park, which is worth a day. It’s a long 1 hour drive to either Kyoto or Osaka, but we spent half days at both and were grateful to go “home” to Osam’s place at the end of the day. Worth staying 3-4 nights to relax and explore this part of Japan.

By Japan's standards, Kyoto House is palatial. The outdoor tub and garden are as luxe as it gets. And it's a genuine 80-year-old property to boot. We got a really great deal and even though it was still expensive, was worth every penny.

beautiful and amazing place, very quiet and calm neighborhood. 5min walking from Nara parc, perfect to enjoy it in the calm morning.

We stayed with 10 people, including two infants, one kindergarten, and one elementary school student.The living room, balcony, bath, and kitchen were all spacious, comfortable and fulfilling. Especially the BBQ on the balcony was great and the equipment was great and comfortable.There was also a business dishwasher, which was helpful because the burden of washing was small. There are 4 bedrooms, including the Japanese-style room, and it is comfortable for multiple families. The espresso machine in the living room was also good. I'd love to stay again.

Great place for a couple people traveling through Kyoto. smack dab between many different restaurants and shops as well as a 711 less than 300 feet away. The location is amazing. the house itself may present itself as smaller to the average American but it fit our needs very well. just be sure to watch your head if you are tall as some of us were. Other than, that this place has plenty of room and a a great balcony hangout/getaway to u wind after a long day of walking . Great communications and fast response times makes this host an A+.

Hands down the best accommodations among the 3 that I stayed in during this Japan trip. A bit on the pricier side but it's worth it for the space especially if you are traveling with a big family. We appreciate how much convenience this air bnb brought us (big long dining table to chill/chitchat) and spacious living room for us to repack our luggages. My family and I had a great time staying there! PS: Our old uncle neighbour is quite friendly too!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay in Kyoto, if you get the chance to stay here- take it. The fit out, the careful consideration of materials, the ambience and even the natural smell of the wood all contribute to the perfect sensory experience of the property and the city! Also worth mentioning the host has impeccable communication making a stay here as easy as can be!

The house was wonderful, the location was really quiet on the outerskirts of Kyoto, perfect for hiking and get away from the crowded areas. We have enjoyed the garden as well as the cozy living room.

Thank you for your willingness to accommodate this last-minute reservation! It was a very stylish villa with both coolness and warmth! This grade is hard to come by. Especially the living room is the most cozy! The colored tiles are warm and lovely. And above all, Mt. Fuji is visible from the window!It was unbelievably big, beautiful, and I saw it for a long time. The sauna while looking at Mt. Fuji was also a luxurious time. The children are also very happy. I'd like to visit again in a different season. Thanks again!

We had a very pleasant time! The 100% natural hot spring and sauna were the best, and I went in many times during my stay and was healed.I think it's irresistible for hot spring and sauna lovers. The host was also very polite, and the advance exchange was quick and reassuring.The host explained various things about the location, and I had no worries. I also appreciated the local recommendations and various restaurants.The izakaya they introduced me to had delicious local fish sashimi, and all the other dishes were great too! Relaxing in the hot springs, eating delicious food… I had a very satisfying stay.I'd love to go again. Thank you!

The grounds were very spacious, and it was very good that there were many playground equipment for small children to play on. I also met wild deer! The room was very clean, spacious, and had a very open feel. Unfortunately it was raining on the first day, but I was able to enjoy myself in the room, and the next day it was sunny so I was able to play outside to my heart's content. There are also plenty of bedrooms for large groups, so I'd love to use it again if I get the chance.

The hot spring, which was the main purpose, was a good size and I was able to relax!I didn't mind the smell of the sauna like it was written by someone else.We enjoyed it with the jacuzzi.The view is also good, you can see the sea and Mt. Omuro.The only car was a bit of a struggle to get in and out.If you have a companion, you might want to have a look at it.

Fujisakura-san was a wonderful host. The place was excellent, offering a clear and unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji from both the terrace and the living room. It was clean, well-maintained, and the host provided detailed instructions that made everything smooth and easy.

The place was beautiful and peaceful. Really enjoyed the heated pool (still cool in early June but better than the ocean!). The shower and heated tub were amazing. Just a stunning peaceful place to stay. Grateful we had a car so we could get to the beaches with waves. The little town was still a little sleepy as the summer season had not yet fully kicked in and so many things still closed except for weekends. As English speaking folks the lack of any english instruction for the appliances or even the written house rules was a bit challenging. The house is modern and beautiful. Communication was very engaged prior to arrival, but after our arrival the responsiveness to our questions and concerns was poor and could be improved upon- particularly when we were concerned about their property (a leak) and the check out lacked instruction, so we had to improvise.

Absolutely loved our stay at Olga’s place in Oceanic Villa Minami! The location is stunning, and easy access to the beach. Olga was an exceptional host, providing thoughtful touches and local recommendations that enhanced my experience. The villa itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the ultimate coastal getaway!

This place was the epitome of peaceful. We loved our stay so much and would definitely come back. Host was wonderful, helpful, responsive and friendly. The view is gorgeous and the house is loaded with amenities. Not house related, but just as a tip, it was sometimes difficult to get a taxi if you do not have your own car. That would not deter us from staying at this amazing place again! Absolutely stunning!
