In the evening, warm lighting soothes the heart and creates a special atmosphere. You can also BBQ or dine around the fireplace under the lights. Experience an extraordinary space with friends in this natural environment where you can see the stars in the sky. 　There are also plenty of sightseeing spots, such as the historic castle town of Iwamura, Japan Taisho Village, and Magome-juku, which has a nostalgic atmosphere. A spacious, 221-year-old private house in the center of Tsumagojuku!

This is an old house built 221 years ago, located in the center of Tsumago-juku. The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Equipped with WiFi and an automatic lifting table, teleworking is also possible for long-term stays. Please have a relaxing time in this quiet old house. We look forward to seeing you ！

This place used to be one big guesthouse, but during Covid19, I have stopped running the guesthouse and I moved in with my wife and 2 kids. Still I didn't want to give up so I left the good parts. Private cypress bath and renovated rooms and made another entrance for the Guests. So now it is 2 separate house Please check the house rules before you book.

Fuji. *It's very suburb, and there is no taxi and Uber is unavailable, so you need a car to come and sightseen.(You need an international driver license to rent a car in Japan) There are livestock farms around the house. Sometimes smells like a barn for cows.

From the nearest bus stop, Midorinomura-Iriguchi, it's about 2 min walk. It is also very close (3min bus ride) to Sounzan, the terminal of the Hakone rope way.
