It is a 3-minute walk to the entrance of the scenic Monawaki Suspension Bridge, and the national park promenade along the coast is ideal for a morning walk, taking about 40 minutes to complete one round. Izu Ocean Park and Ocean BBQ are a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive away. You can see the Pacific Ocean from the suspension bridge and lighthouse, about a 5-minute walk, and if you're lucky, you can see a sea turtle swimming. It is about a 20-minute walk from Jogasakikaigan Station, and there are 2 free electric assist bicycles in the facility, so you can go shopping in about 10 minutes to a supermarket or convenience store without a car. You can find lots of beautiful scenery in just a 10-minute walk. Check out Mt. Iinu from Oaza Hoshiike. About 3 minutes on foot from the nearest bus stop (Iineta Higashi Ward)! The next closest bus stop (Iinetate) is about a 7-minute walk. You can also get here by public transportation. Walking distance to restaurants such as Mori-no-Eki, Iizuna Soba, ramen, hamburgers, etc. About 25 minutes by car from Nagano Station and Zenkoji Temple. Togakushi Shrine is about a 15-minute drive away. It is also a great base for golfing and skiing in the direction of Togakushi, Kurohime, and Myoko.
