Huset ligger tæt på Mossø, og det er muligt at søsætte, båd, kano, kajak eller lignende på et tilhørende landsted ca. 250 meter derfra. Kano til rådighed. Sommerhuset er beliggende midt i det jyske søhøjland med et kæmpe udvalg af naturoplevelser til lands eller til vands. 20 minutters gang fra huset stopper toget i Alken mod Århus eller Ry/Silkeborg. Super udgangspunkt for alle typer for ferie i Østjylland.

Det ligger i et mindre sommerhusområde med mange træer og buske. Der er skøn udsigt til fjorden og kun et stenkast derned. Her kan der bades fra strand og offentlig badebro. Husk dog badesko, da stranden visse steder er stenet. Husk også fiskestang, hvis du er lystfisker.
