great place inside the apartment and funny different on the outside facilities. lots of friendly people, private beach area. and great staff. Also good clean pools. Free beach chairs. we loved it

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

My stay at this beachfront Airbnb in Diani was nothing short of spectacular! The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the soft white sand and turquoise waters at any time of the day. One of the most magical experiences was watching the morning sunrise from the property. The view was absolutely breathtaking as the golden rays reflected off the ocean, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the balcony or taking an early walk along the shore, the sunrise here is unforgettable. The house itself is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The host was welcoming.

The house was cozy and very private in an idyllic location steps from the beach. The staff, Elizabeth and Duca are wonderful and made our stay so comfortable. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back.

Michael is a great host, very friendly and responds quickly to messages! From the outside, the apartment building looks a bit outdated, but its location is great and has direct access to the beach. The apartment itself looks good and has a nice balcony with beach view.

We enjoyed our time at Sunshine House very much. The place is right by the ocean, perfect for a relaxing vacation at the beach. Shaban and Christian are great hosts, they were very helpful before and during the stay and gave great advice for things to do and places to visit.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home — spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped. The bedrooms were cool and comfortable thanks to the air conditioning and fans, making nights by the beach relaxing and restful. Irene (the housekeeper) and Abdallah (the chef) truly made our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and attention to detail made the house feel like home, and by the end of the trip, they genuinely felt like part of the family. The house has everything you need, including beach towels for both the semi-private pool and the beach, which is just a few steps away. Getting around was easy — we hopped on a tuk-tuk to explore the town and visit places like Stiltz, where we even got to feed bush babies! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return in a heartbeat.

Great big place, with tasteful furnishings and beautiful stained glass windows. Joseph is a great cook, and Rebecca friendly and helpful. It's a little closer to the house next door than we were expecting from the photos. The beach is stunning, and the shared pool on the beach side is great for kids. Recommended!

The place was exactly as expected and Susan was the kindest and most helpful host I have encountered. It felt like I never left home.

Nadia’s villa was an awesome place to stay. Beautiful house, garden and pool, safe, 5 minutes from beach. The resort staff and in particular Carol, who looks after the house - everyone looked after us really well. Carol made the week really easy, and went out of her way to help us find our feet, first time in Mombasa - she also made us some great meals. A perfect location, I would love to come back!

The apartment had everything i needed for a comfortable stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with 2 pools to choose from, and great views looking over ocean. The swing seats near the bar area were my favourite. The location is great, it's located in the quieter end of diani beach but close to amenities. I'd definitely stay here again!

The house is beautifully presented with 4 enormous double bedrooms, two with equally enormous balconies. The pictures do not do the property justice. Mzuri House is part of a well run little complex. Security is ever present and you feel perfectly at ease at all times. The house feels very private and is 20M from the quieter Galu Beach, an extension of Diani beach. Sails and Salty Squid restaurants are excellent and only 100M. However the main attractions at Mzuri House are Liz the housekeeper and Shee the chef. Both were amazing hosts. Liz will communicate with before you arrive. She will arrange everything for you from airport pick-ups to restaurant bookings as well as keep the house spotless. Shee the chef prepares delicious breakfasts and lunch and / or dinner. All meals were extraordinary local dishes that our usually difficult to please 3 kids devoured! We can not recommend Mzuri House enough and in particular Liz and Shee.

If you're planning a trip to Diani, do yourself a favour and book yourself in this apartment! Don't be fooled by the outside appearance, whether you're looking for restaurants, the beach, swimming pools, clubs, everything is right there for you, just a few strolls away. Add to that the quietness, the cleanliness and the availability of the host and Nyawira's apartment is the go-to place. Definitely recommend!

A fabulous house for groups of friends and family. Lots of places to sit, inside and out, to relax and to eat. Lovely quiet and safe private road and a short walk down to the beach. We had a great long weekend and big thanks to Mikhail and Ruth for their hospitality.

We spent a week in this apartment, and had a great time. The apartment and resort are very nice, and we were taken very well cared for by Emily the housekeeper, and Iddi the chef she recommended!

The Lantana resort / gated community is one of the best of the Diani/Galu coast. Beautiful villas and apartments, surrounded by lush gardens, with an excellent restaurant and the beach just outside. Katrina’s apartment feels like staying in a villa thanks to its very quiet position on the ground floor near a swimming pool accessible directly through the garden. Plenty of space, comfortable and elegant. Great value, will come back for more!

Almahali is one of those rare places where you feel so at home you don’t want to leave. The host Sean is a truly wonderful individual. Extremely accommodating and he is extremely responsive. Honestly I had a truly amazing time and I was so relaxed I’ll probably need a week to readjust myself back to reality. If my words aren’t convincing enough of how much I’d recommend the stay I can only say you need to try it yourself

We enjoyed our stay, Enos the cook is very kind, clean and cooks delicious food. This was our second time staying here, the kids loved the pool, location is very convenient.

The host was nice. Very quick responses. The place is at a great location. We faced some small inconveniences during our stay but the host was quick to resolve. Would definitely recommend.

The apartment was great. It’s big and looks good. The building is called Heiner’s Sandbox. It’s in the approximately 6th row to the beach which is about 800m or 5 minutes walk to the beach. This information would be helpful to be included in the description. There’s a private beach access where I could also let my kite stay protected for a couple of hours. Kiting in front of the beach access was good.

We were lucky to book the chalet next to the beach - with great outdoor verandah's and views of the beach and the ocean. There are about 4 or 5 other chalets in the same compound. Nice gardens. A quiter area of Diani Beach - not that many beach boys, and walkable to some nice beach side restaurants. The accommodation is basic, no-frills self-catering, which is what we wanted.
