Lovely home in Acoaxet with great water views and an excellent host.

Both humans and canine loved this place. The rooms were a good size. Both the bathroom and the kitchen had adequate supplies and equipment and were well maintained. I especially appreciated the couch protectors so we could be comfortable about letting dog rest on the couch. Tom contacted us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. His wife came over shortly after we arrived to help us figure out how to work the TV. Oakland Beach is at the end of the road and the streets in the neighborhood are very walk-able. This place was perfect for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Karen's place! It was the perfect, central location for all that we wanted to do during our long weekend; and our dog loved that she could join us! The beds were super comfy, I loved the aesthetic, and it was the perfect size for our family of five.

First time traveling to this area and it was perfect. Our family of 7 had an amazing time and was very comfortable. Areas were spacious, beautiful yard, two bathrooms (a definite plus) centrally located to everything, very clean, comfortable sleeping, everything you need when traveling. I can't say enough about this home. Was on a busy street but that did not have any negative impact at all. Roland gave great recommendations and he was spot on! The French bakery, seafood restaurants and beaches were a stone's throw away. Great location and spectacular accommodations. We also took advantage of the fire pit 😋 thank you so much Roland, this was a short getaway that my family and I needed. Definitely recommend!

I would give the Cottage 6 stars if I could! The place is really magical - every detail is so meticulously selected and beautiful inside and the location is so picturesque. My only complaint was the weather during my stay: it was chilly and rainy most days and we weren’t able to spend as much time outdoors as I would have liked. Steve and Dean were the most amazing hosts. They were so helpful and quick to assist. My in laws traveled with us and they were also blown away with the Cottage and care!

This rental looked exactly like the pictures. The wine and bags of ice were very nice touches. The only thing that could have been better were some extra linens/towels. We stayed for 2 nights but we used this as a bridal suite while getting ready and ran out of towels quickly. Thankfully there was a washer and dryer for towels. It looks like they are slowly doing some updates so I’m sure it will look even more amazing when we come back. Can’t wait! Loved your home away from home.

Wow, we were delighted! Walking in we felt at home- everything we needed, familiar, practical, and pretty! I think if anything we had a few positive surprises: we missed that there was a sauna in the place, got to play a few childhood games & paged some good reads off their shelves, &, most importantly, somehow didn’t realize exactly how nice & close the sea is! Ample outdoor spaces; you can rotate through sunny/shady, and if raining outdoors still space outside but out of rain. The fireplace was GREAT. Another positive surprise as we did not expect it was going to be such an asset at meals as well as while we lounged about. Visiting in spring we were just warm enough to utilize the screened porch, the gazebo, and the swing/bench/patio area & just cool enough to make use of the fire pit too. Amazing variety of wildlife passing through. Hosts were among the most communicative & flexible we have had: super nice. We appreciate that they really share the home’s history too!

Our stay here was wonderful! The home was clean, had comfortable beds and had a charming feel to it. I felt it was a great location with easy access into town. The host was very responsive and lovely to communicate with! If we ever return to Newport we would certainly stay here again.

Shael is a wonderful host! Very responsive and friendly. The private pool is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it! There were plenty of towels and even some inflatable pool toys in the backyard shed. The kitchen is stocked with every tool and gadget imaginable. Beds were very comfortable.

We had an excellent stay while attending our son's graduation at UCONN. The place was clean and homey, perfect when traveling back and forth. Our plans changed and we did not bring our dog, and Ashley was kind enough to refund us. My son goes back to UConn in the fall for his master's, and we know where we will stay again next May.

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this listing over Memorial Day weekend. The home itself and particularly the view were even more beautiful than pictured. Elena is a fantastic host - flexible, accommodating, and always quick to respond to any request. The adorable town of Warren, which is a few minutes drive away, boasts countless restaurants, bars, art galleries, boutiques, and more. I could not more highly recommend this home for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for a fantastic waterfront getaway.

The place was so spacious for our group of friends for a weekend away! It was very well kept and we had an amazing stay!

The check-in process was so smooth and finding the place was super easy! The house was absolutely gorgeous and accommodating for us to stay the night. We wished we could have stayed to enjoy the amenities that were part of the campground! The location was perfect for us to be able to go to our concert the night of check in! We will definitely be back in our future travels!

This home was great for our family. The pool and backyard are beautiful, and the house was clean and welcoming. There are a lot of activities in the area. I would stay here again!

Steve's place was amazing. The carriage house was gorgeous, comfortable, and a wonderful space for our long weekend! We were just a close drive to Providence, where we needed to be most of the weekend. I would stay there again!

This country getaway is an absolute gem! Just 20 minutes outside of Providence, this luxury escape offers the perfect mix of peace and charm. The home is stunning—boasting beautiful high ceilings, an incredibly spacious layout, and a beautiful kitchen that made it a pleasure to cook in. The outdoor space is a dream. The pool is serene and refreshing, and being surrounded by horses and cows added such a unique, calming touch to the stay. The entire property is quiet and relaxing, ideal for a weekend recharge or longer escape. Cristyn was a thoughtful and responsive host, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious countryside experience near the city!

My husband and I booked Brady Cottage for a week at the end of May to take a break from our very hectic lives. The pastoral setting in quiet Little Compton was exactly what we needed. We enjoyed woodland hikes on conservation land, cooking at the cottage, Grey's Daily Grind in Westport (amazing baked goods!!) and the amazing Polled Hereford cows and calves behind the cottage. We had a few nice meals out in Tiverton. Check-in and check-out were seamless. The cottage was clean, cozy, charming and comfortable for us and our little dog.

We stayed here for my wedding. Tatiana was so kind and always responsive. When we arrived she showed us around and ensured our comfort. Thank you for a great stay!

The water views were breathtaking. The hot tub was a nice touch. Beautiful clean home. We loved our stay and would love to come again.

The cottage is located on the same property as three other rentals, a large house and two smaller once. Depending on how many of them are occupied, privacy can vary. During our stay the two smaller homes were rented as well. Unfortunately the backyard is not completely fenced, but there was on piece of fence that allowed us to block the one open spot, so our dogs didn’t run away. The cottage is big enough for two adults. The bathroom is fairly small, but is enough for a short stay. The living room and the kitchen are adjacent and are nice for cooking or spending time when you are not discovering Newport and the surrounding area. The location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet spot after a long day of discovering Rhode Island, Martha Vineyard, Block Island and many other beautiful places.

Bill's place is a very clean and comfortable updated coastal cottage only 1 house from the water with water views from the living room window. You have access to chairs right by the cove. We enjoyed watching the egrets and the peaceful surroundings. Beds were comfortable; nice bathroom and kitchen and sunroom would be great in cooler weather. Bill is a very responsive, kind and helpful host and provided area info and restaurant recommendations. Location can't be beat; only 1/2 block from a beautiful walk by the water. Would love to go back- highly recommend!

This place is just what you need if your staying a weekend or 1 night. Plenty of space, big bathroom, nice AC, & privacy.

The Sea Glass Cottage was clean, had amazing views, organized, had everything we needed, and was located on what appeared to be the best part of the island. It was one of the few places where the home patio facing the water without a street obstruction. The decoration and amenities were in perfect condition, and decor was so cute and cozy. It was clearly thought through by a home decor professional. Great place for a couples getaway...coffee on the patio at sunrise, walks around historic farms and nature reserves, crabbing at the dedicated beach to the home and sunset walks on the sandy beach just a short drive away. Emily was so responsive to our questions especially since this was our first time to Air B&B...may have been too numerous. She was a delightful host.

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!
