Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Rhode Island

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

Place was just as pictured. Very responsive hosts. Would come again!

My large family group, including a somewhat disabled mother-in-law, appreciated the stay as we celebrated a son's graduation! It did get cozy when the entire group was present but we all fit and the beds/couches were clean and comfortable! It was so nice to be able to get together with family at this very special occasion. Thomas was a very accomodating host. There is a large condo complex next door but very quiet. The street neighborhood is quiet and lovely! We enjoyed the lighthouse view!

We had a great week- easy walk to beach and shops. Anne was very responsive to our questions - kitchen was well equiped- safe house for a toddler- small yard but playground close by (walking distance)

This place was perfect for what I needed. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, simply and beautifully decorated, and well equipped. It was also a wonderful setting with great views in all directions. While the houses are quite close together, it is a quiet neighborhood and it helped that it wasn't high season. Lots to explore nearby and just as tempting to sit on the deck or lie in the hammock watching the world go by. This was more than I had initially planned to spend, and I'm so glad I went ahead with it anyway - very grateful for this spot!

Both humans and canine loved this place. The rooms were a good size. Both the bathroom and the kitchen had adequate supplies and equipment and were well maintained. I especially appreciated the couch protectors so we could be comfortable about letting dog rest on the couch. Tom contacted us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. His wife came over shortly after we arrived to help us figure out how to work the TV. Oakland Beach is at the end of the road and the streets in the neighborhood are very walk-able. This place was perfect for us.

I was very happy with our stay. The pictures represented the house well but I got an even better feeling when we got inside. It was a great location for us. We went to my son's graduation at URI. Though it was around 30 minutes away we got there easily. There is a Dunkin Donuts and Honey Dew right around the corner so though Kelly had the house well stocked with coffee and dishware, we were able to grab some food items from there. We celebrated the graduation with dinner at Vetranos. Before leaving we took a nice ride by the water and beaches. If we were going for a summer vacation would consider staying there also. The house was charming and comfortable for myself, husband, parents and 3 adult sons. I would have enjoyed staying an extra day. Also Kelly and husband were very gracious to allow us to snack on a few items that they left in the fridge. I wish I had had the time to leave something for them. A beautiful home in a peaceful neighborhood. I loved hearing the birds sing in the morning! Lots to do within the home, and very short ride to the city. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a home vibe! Also, lots of art on display and plenty of books to read. Thank you for the hospitality!

Shael is a wonderful host! Very responsive and friendly. The private pool is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed it! There were plenty of towels and even some inflatable pool toys in the backyard shed. The kitchen is stocked with every tool and gadget imaginable. Beds were very comfortable.

The place was so spacious for our group of friends for a weekend away! It was very well kept and we had an amazing stay!

My husband and I had a lovely stay in this listing over Memorial Day weekend. The home itself and particularly the view were even more beautiful than pictured. Elena is a fantastic host - flexible, accommodating, and always quick to respond to any request. The adorable town of Warren, which is a few minutes drive away, boasts countless restaurants, bars, art galleries, boutiques, and more. I could not more highly recommend this home for couples, families, or groups of friends looking for a fantastic waterfront getaway.

The house was perfect for our family, loved that the Master bedroom was separate from the others. Short walk to the ocean and Restaurants. Would definitely rent this home again.

Steve's place was amazing. The carriage house was gorgeous, comfortable, and a wonderful space for our long weekend! We were just a close drive to Providence, where we needed to be most of the weekend. I would stay there again!

This place was beautiful! The kitchen was spacious and accommodated our larger group nicely. Hosts left clear instructions and proactively checked in. They were even nice enough to open their pool a little earlier so we could enjoy it. Highly recommend staying here if you are planning a girls’ weekend. Bedrooms were comfy, and everyone in my group had a lovely time. Thank you!

This country getaway is an absolute gem! Just 20 minutes outside of Providence, this luxury escape offers the perfect mix of peace and charm. The home is stunning—boasting beautiful high ceilings, an incredibly spacious layout, and a beautiful kitchen that made it a pleasure to cook in. The outdoor space is a dream. The pool is serene and refreshing, and being surrounded by horses and cows added such a unique, calming touch to the stay. The entire property is quiet and relaxing, ideal for a weekend recharge or longer escape. Cristyn was a thoughtful and responsive host, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious countryside experience near the city!

We choose Kim’s house to be close to URI for graduation and so that our whole family could be together. It was a short ride to URI and the wonderful restaurants in Narragansett. Kim was very proactive communicating with us leading up to the rental, offering local recommendations. The house was wonderful in a quiet neighborhood. Inside was spacious and clean. The kitchen and bathrooms had all the supplies needed. Kim even brought us RI Guys donuts (very good) and some wine to celebrate graduation. The backyard deck and pool looked great even though it was a little chilly for us to enjoy. Great place to choose for families staying in the area.

As a first time Airbnb guest, I'm very satisfied with a week stay at the Nest! Luke's accessibility for requests were timely; needing an extra blanket and directions to nearest food market. Luke provided places of interest that made the most of beauty outdoors. The physical loft space is amenable, quiet, clean and cozy; the skylights a definitive plus for light even on rainy days. An added desk makes a terrific workspace near windows with a view of green and sky. The extensive back yard has lounge chairs with enough tree shade and open sky for gazing. Luke's extensive yard stone work is both whimsical and artistically wonderful. A terrific stay and I've already recommended to friends.

Where to start? This place is incredible! We loved everything about it, even though we didn't even try the kayaks. Hopefully, we'll try them next time! It has everything you need, and getting there and the directions were super easy. Everything is clean, and they have a book with everything you might need if you have any questions. We cook a lot, but you have to bring everything. They give you all the dishes and pots, plus their grill, which we loved. But you'll have to pack all the spices and basic essentials! The beds were comfortable, under the small-space concept. Our daughter really enjoyed the movie projector and the hammock. I especially loved the outdoor shower! It's very pet-friendly; our dog had a blast, but there are a lot of ticks. We'll definitely be back. Thanks for creating such a magical place, Jeff and Luci! Don't forget to visit the refuge it was a plus. ❤️

The house was so clean and absolutely adorable! Located on a quiet and peaceful street. Felt right at home, about 25 minute drive to Newport with great views of the island. Kirsten was a great host, So friendly and welcoming. Even got little toys for our kids to play with while in town! Would love to stay here again! Thanks so much for having us 😃

Home and area were beautiful! Everything was well stocked for our month-long stay, and they even had a jar of dog treats that our pup was very grateful for. Loved that the home was right off of a beautiful run/bike bath too. Great restaurants close by and a yoga studio within walking distance. We had a great time, thank you!

Great spot. Just like the photos. Has a local neighborhood vibe and easy walk to the popular Newport attractions. Love the heated floors in the bathroom. Sue was a great communicator and was very helpful.

Had my future in-laws stay here for the proposal weekend and it was perfect! Annie was great to work with and the house was even better than the photos! Highly reccomend!

Staying at Daniela’s place was great! Super easy to find and get into the peaceful house on the pond. Even though it was pet friendly, the house was spotless and had no wear or tear from previous visitors. It was great that they had child gates at stairs too! The dog loved going out in the canoe and swimming in the pond! Great place overall!
