Our two-tiered approach

A wonderfully bright house right next to Notre Échelle 1. With In the garden a swimming pool with large sun terrace. In 2024, converted into a holiday home where you will find a combination of old elements from the adjacent farmhouse with new elements like a new kitchen and bathroom. The house is at the outskirts of the village of Alluy at the foot of the Morvan. You will find peace here, the beautiful countryside but also the coziness of the very nearby villages and harbors along the Canal de Nivernais.

Gîte with idyllic garden one minute from the lake

Vrijstaand huis met grote omheinde weelderige tuin met veel privacy en fijne zithoekjes. Geniet van het prachtige uitzicht over het meer en de omliggende beboste heuvels. Vanuit het huisje wandel je zo langs het meer voor een frisse duik. Voor de boodschappen is de dichtstbijzijnde stad 13 km. Dit sfeervolle huis staat in een klein gehuchtje aan het ‘Lac de Pannecière’ in het prachtige Regionaal Natuurpark Morvan in hartje Bourgogne. Het is er stil, groen en heeft de mooiste sterrenhemels.

Welkom bij Kingfisher Cabin! Kom heerlijk ontspannen in onze geheel gerenoveerde cabin, omgeven door prachtige natuur. De cabin staat aan het begin van ons erf, gelegen aan een doodlopende weg. De cabin ligt geheel privé met een eigen ruime tuin (1200 m2). Om af te koelen tijdens de zomerdagen, kan er gebruik gemaakt worden van ons gedeelde zwembad met terras en prachtig uitzicht op de omgeving. Het dichtstbijzijnde dorp Saint-Saulge ligt op 1,5 km met een supermarkt, bakker en café.

The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

We only spent two nights, but it was perfect, the place is very peaceful, quite secluded but you can easily go shopping by driving 10 minutes. The surrounding forests are beautiful. I would just say that the rules are a little strict when it comes to the pool, but it can be understood. We'll be back!

Beautiful farmhouse, spacious for 2 or even 3 families (some rooms are in a row), well-equipped and clean. Mention for the very comfortable bedding. A beautiful garden delighted our children while the adults rested in a deckchair in the shade of the apple tree. The owners are very responsive, gave us plenty of good advice. The village is within walking distance.

We loved our stay at this beautifully restored historic mill. Christine and Yves are the best Airbnb hosts - so warm, helpful, and generous. From sharing cherries from their tree, to offering excellent restaurant and excursion recommendations, they went above and beyond in every way. The space is thoughtfully designed with high-quality furnishings, linens, and extra touches that made it feel both comfortable and luxurious. The setting is peaceful and serene; we enjoyed time simply enjoying the sounds of the river that runs through the property. We’ve stayed in many wonderful places, but Christine and Yves are hands down the best hosts we’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Beautiful charming cottage with exceptional views of the surrounding countryside and the Vézelay basilica. The cottage is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is very well equipped and we have everything we need to cook for 7 people. The bedding is super comfortable and the cleanliness is impeccable. Great communication with Sophie: very nice, always available and responsive to our every request. We were also able to taste the wines of the estate, which are excellent! We recommend ++!
