Downtown Casita / Guesthouse

The Casita is an early 1900's adobe structure that is located in the heart of downtown Albuquerque. The guesthouse and main house were completely rebuilt and renovated in early 2018. The Casita has high end finishes including granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, walk in shower, oversize windows and skylights, ceiling fans, hardwood doors, AC, a covered porch, exposed beams, t&g ceiling and more. We allow up to 2 well trained pets unless prior authorization is obtained.

A bright kitchen features retro-inspired Big Chill appliances, including a large turquoise refrigerator and a white stove with a gas cooktop. A patterned runner extends along the wood floor, while cabinets and countertops provide ample space for cooking and preparing meals. An interior door leads to the laundry room.

Charming Cottage near Old Town Albuquerque

Our cozy cottage is nestled on the tree-lined streets of the Huning Castle Community. One of the oldest neighborhoods in Albuquerque, it is midway between Old Town and Downtown. This historic neighborhood was named for the opulent mansion built by German immigrant and Albuquerque pioneer Franz Huning in the 1880’s. While the castle no longer stands, the neighborhood maintains its historic charm. We hope you enjoy this cozy cottage and lovely neighborhood as much as we do.
