The Red Haus was excellent trip. Lots of nature around the place, space to play games. Plenty of privacy, and attractions around the place. The hosts were always responsive and clear with instructions. Great for a larger group size as there is enough beds around the house and common space. Property was as described.

This cottage was perfectly curated for a family/friend’s getaway! Their home was spacious, and well equipped from the kitchen to the fire outside. If you didn’t have a plan for the weekend, they have a detailed booklet on everything near by. I really appreciated them giving us the heads up on the northern lights, and providing 2 Bon Echo Park passes to the guests! The communication was fast, and the location was perfect. There’s nothing more I could even ask for.

My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb as a surprise weekend away to celebrate our friend getting married. This Airbnb was the perfect spot for us, with lots of wonderful amenities on the property itself as well as a distillery and cider house within a less than 5 minute walk away. We were blown away by the attention to detail at this place, they are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including board games and outdoor activities. The entire property was pristine, inside the house and outside. The hosts were extremely kind and quickly responsive to messages. They even helped us with recommendations in the area. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. My friends and I are hoping to return for another visit in the future! Thanks Wayne & Carolyn for a great stay. :)

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

We loved our stay . Great place , property and even though the weather wasn’t great on the second day we still found lots to do in the house which was awesome . I recommend this place to anyone - it’s a great spot with a great host

This is a fabulous cabin on the lake!! We ended up having our family of 4 plus a niece stay here during a family reunion in Kingston and this was wonderful! I like getting out of town, and this feels out in the woods, yet only a 20 minute drive to Kingston. The communication with Danielle and Jorden was immediate. The instructions to get to the cabin are clear. The cabin itself is very cozy and had everything we needed. It was very clean, the kitchen has all necessary appliances, the beds are very comfortable, the showers are great (but low pressure if something else, like the dishwasher, is running) The setting is in absolute paradise. The lake, the deck, the dock, the chairs, the fire pit, the hot tub... wow!Unfortunately for us, the weather was not great so we did not make good use of all the outdoor amenities. But even in the rain, it was so lovely to walk some of the nearby Cataraqui Trail. I will definitely try to make my way back to this Airbnb, hopefully in the warmer months.

Fantastic stay, what a wonderful place to stay. Everything you could possibly need to keep a whole family entertained and catered for! Absolutely loved all the canoes, boats, paddle boards and the man cave. Kitchen was brilliant with all the equipment we needed. Really beautiful and peaceful location and children well catered for too with toys, life jackets etc Couldn’t have more good things to say about Mellow Yellow Cottage!

I had one of the best weekends of my life very easy to get a hold of Lindsay she responds very fast her place was very clean n cozy I highly recommend this place to go and relax for a little get away

We came up for an early season fishing trip. This was my third Airbnb stay in the area and the best so far. Adam was responsive to messages through the app and we really enjoyed our stay. Parking was not an issue with a 20 ft bass boat, and though we opted to trailer the boat and use different ramps each day, the nearby docks were nice and would have been a solid option also. The house was clean, everything worked as advertised, and the massage recliner was a fun little bonus after a long day on the water. The proximity to town was great also, a very short drive or long walk to dinner. I would absolutely come back for a second stay on future trips.

We enjoyed the stay and would stay again in a second. Amazing spot. Short walk to a store, quiet, and a great spot on the water to fish and hang out and grill. They’re very open about the water smelling; it does. The hot water worse than the cold. They had water accommodations for consumption. This isn’t a complaint as much as it’s in the listing description. Just know that it’s not exaggerated so don’t be surprised.

Our cabin was so beautiful, incredibly clean and really well located. 10 minutes from the local town and 5 minutes from The Ivy Lea (great restaurant). We had access to the water to sit and watch the sunset, as well as access to the docks for our boat. The bay is private and beautiful. The cabins are close together and would be great for multiple family members to rent together.

Fantastic setting! The place was clean and very well equipped, we lacked nothing. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Wonderful clean lake and fun to explore with their kayaks. We found the indoor space a little tight (family of 5 adults), the rooms were small but comfortable. The outdoor space was phenomenal, lots of sitting areas, fire pits and we enjoyed the hot tub! It is not good for people with reduced mobility however. There are lots of stairs!

We highly recommend Dylan’s idyllic lakefront place as it allowed us to enjoy a thoroughly relaxed Memorial day weekend with our adult children. While the well equipped kitchen, ample games and TVs with streaming enabled us to perfectly enjoy indoor activities when it was raining, the choice of spectacular, tranquil views and kayaking on the water was too irresistible to stay in for too long. Thank you Dylan for recommending local activities/places to explore. Hiking in Rock Dunder was truly amazing, and the Rideau canal locks were interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of the outdoor grill and bug free option to enjoy the patio. The home is perfect for a family or group that doesn’t mind sharing one bathroom. Would love to visit again, especially knowing that Dylan may be adding improved space/bathroom to his home.

What a wonderful find! The cottage is in beautiful surroundings with lake views, it was very peaceful and private. Inside is very comfortable, love how everything was decorated, it has everything needed for a great vacation. Very clean throughout and comfy beds. It was great having the canoes there too! James was a great host giving very clear instructions on everything and the surrounding area. I'd love to come back! Thank you for a much needed relaxing break away from everything

Absolutely spectacular. Hidden gem! If you are looking for something private but still within a 15-20minute drive to groceries this is the place to stay! You won’t be disappointed. Comfortably holds a family of 6! We had an absolute blast! Stunning property and open concept cottage. Lots of natural light and gorgeous view from the living room! The dock and wrap around deck were absolutely beautiful to enjoy for sunrise and sunset! 2 hour drive to Ottawa and 2 hours to Gatineau National Park! Highly recommend the drive into Gatineau park! And Pink Salmon trail! If you have fur babies, this park is very restricted due to the sensitive eco system! Really cute shops and restaurants in downtown Ottawa and in Gatineau Park! We absolutely will be coming back (: Thank you Rachael for being an incredible host! Very responsive to requests and very accommodating !

Beautiful location: it’s right on the water with a clear view of the ferry! The dock is wonderful to relax on. It’s an ideal location with walkable access to the ferry as well as island shops.

Beautiful family stay! We brought two toddlers who loved hanging out on the dock, hanging out on the swing and eating on the picnic table on nice days. The DVD collection was awesome as well! No issue with hot spotting for anything else. One thing to note is the (gorgeous) glass table and winding staircase require a bit of extra supervision with young ones. Total paradise for young families or small groups :)

We needed to get away for a few days for some R&R with peace & quiet and this spot did all that. From the moment we booked the trip until the day we left Carol was there when we needed her (which luckily we never really had to reach out). Check in was easy, the cottage was perfect. It was clean, had plenty of blankets, towels & even had shampoo/conditioner & body wash. She gifted us a bottle of wine in the fridge, nice & cold & ready to drink. The views when you walked in the door took our breath away - a picture window with views of the lake. Outside we found plenty of seating and fire pit with wood provided. Nice set of stairs to go down to the water. The bed, daybed & furniture were comfortable. We had fans to us if needed. We basically stayed & enjoyed the property with a fire going & just took in the quietness. We have promised ourselves that we will be back at least 1x a year, thankfully we are only two hours south. I had a great stay at this cozy lakeside Airbnb. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The view of the lake was a beautiful bonus, especially in the mornings and sunsets in the evening. The host was very proactive and responsive, making sure everything was in order and that I felt welcome. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Ellen & Corey's cozy cottage was the perfect little getaway. They provided a crib which made travelling for the first time with our infant much easier. The area is so peaceful and Corey came by to provide more firewood when we ran out. They are kind and responsive hosts!

The property is beautiful. Luckily we were the only ones there, so had the land to ourselves. felt private and serene. I would not have enjoyed it as much if the other cabin had occupants as everything is close together. The cabin is cozy, furniture/appliances are a little wobbly but it adds to the charm and quiky of the place. it was bright and clean. the water is super murky right by the boathouse and launch, but clears as you head out. The stone "step" onto the porch of the cabin can be tricky with anyone with mobility limitations, so take it slow. There is an antique store maybe a 5 min walk that is a great little treasure trove. I found the cutest wind chimes. And loved chatting with the lady working. Most people we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. Quick drive to Clayton and Watertown. There is a country store and a dollar general not very far from the cabin if you need supplies and firewood for sale galore. Wendy was a gracious host. Will be back!

We have stayed at quite a few places in the Thousand Islands. We were very pleased that this cottage was very clean, neat and everything that was needed was provided. It was well appreciated.
