Great place to stay in the Husavik area--very peaceful

Really exceptional chalets. Very comfortable and warm but the best thing are the superb views from the chalet verandas overlooking a fresh water bird sanctuary lagoon in the immediate foreground and then the wild ocean and mountains in the background. The constant activity and sounds of the different species of birds was the best entertainment. Added to that were the natural wooden hot tubs and the chalet veranda BBQ facilities for residents' use. Highly recommended. Only 5 minutes from Husavik centre and the famous whale watching boat trips from the little harbour which are highly recommended and worth pre booking in high season. We went with 'Friends of Moby Dick' and saw 3 hump backed whales close up. A special experience!

This was a great place to stay, it was in a great location for our adventure in Akureyri. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our trip. The host was great with communication and helpful.Highly recommend!

After we had been looking forward to staying in Heiðas cabin for so long, we just fell in love with it even more from the very moment we arrived. What a gem <3 Aparts from being perfectly clean and well-equipped, the cabin simply just spread such charme and warmth that it was the best possible place we could have returned to after long days of exploration and adventure. kleines Schmuckstück an einem wunderschönen Ort. Leider war das Wetter nicht so toll, deshalb haben wir den Hottube und das Ruderboot nicht genutzt. Das Cottage war sauber und mit allem nötigen ausgestattet. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Schönste Unterkunft während unserer Islandreise!

Schöne und urig gemütlich Hütte. Toller Whirlpool auf der Sonnenterrasse. Badezimmer ist außerhalb, kurzer Weg über die Sonnenterrasse. War für uns aber kein Problem. Das Badezimmer ist schön geräumig. Ein Grill ist auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hosts waren jederzeit super erreichbar.

In Saras Haus haben wir am ersten Tag erst etwas Ordnung schaffen und putzen müssen um uns wohl zu fühlen. Vielleicht sehen andere Leute das entspannter, aber wir hatten etwas höhere Ansprüche, was Sauberkeit betrifft. Es war auch wenig Platz um eigene Dinge und Anziehsachen zu verstauen. Danach haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Es war gemütlich und erholsam, der Blick fantastisch und der Hot Tub ein super Extra!! Wir waren fast jeden Tag darin, auch bei Sturm und Hagel… In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und es gibt sogar Spielzeug und Bücher für Kinder, was uns richtig gut gefallen hat. Sara hat uns schnell geantwortet und auch einen Discount auf eine Walsafari ermöglicht. Vielen Dank für alles, Sara!

We felt like home the first minute we entered the house. It's very warm, cosy and there was everything we need. The host surprised us with a few Icelandic chocolate bars as a welcome gift. The hot tub experience was also amazing. I totally recommend it, it was perfect 👌

We loved our stay in this cabin, tucked up the hill across from the town. The hot tub was a nice bonus after a long day. Was very clean and comfortable for our family of 5, fully stocked kitchen.

A truly gorgeous location. Bright and spotlessly clean with fabulous views of the fjord. Watch the whales from the hot tub! We did not want to leave!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this serene cabin. The views were gorgeous and the property is dreamy. There is clear evidence for attention to detail and the bathrobes and slippers are a lovely touch. The Mývatn area was easily accessible from this property. I would love to stay here again!! 5/5 🌟. Ottima baita in ottima posizione a mezz’ora da Húsavík e a mezz’ora dal lago Mývatn. Pulita e calda, abbiamo trascorso due ottime notti.

Great location for visiting attractions in northern Iceland, such as Akureyri, Húsavík for whale watching, Godafoss and the geothermal area of Hverir. The cabin is very beautiful and cozy, set in a green landscape, with a spacious common area. The highlight of the house is the hot tub outside! The host is very kind and accommodating. We experienced an unforeseen issue and Stefán responded and reached out to us promptly. Highly recommended!

This was the best place we stayed at during our trip in Iceland. This cabin had a lot of sole to it, we loved the fireplace and we will defiantly looking foreword to our next stay there.

Das Haus liegt etwas abgelegen, jedoch mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Die Schotterpiste macht Spass mit einem 4x4. Die Aussicht auf Akureyri ist wunderschön und an 2 Abenden konnten wir Nordlichter sehen. Die Unterkunft ist angenehm und ideal zum Energie tanken für die nächsten Abenteuer. Die Forest Lagoon mit ihren schönen Pools und Finnischer Sauna ist weniger als 10 Minuten per Auto entfernt.
