Waterfront vacation rentals in The Villages

I visited Lorena's place for an extended stay while on a business trip recently and it was extremely helpful to have a place that was a home away from home while I stayed for the three month stretch that I did. This location is in a great community that is quiet and everyone is friendly. The back porch was my "go to" after a long day and was quiet and relaxing. I travel a lot for work and vacation, this was one of my favorite stays excluding the fact that it was for business. If I had questions I had quick, friendly, and supportive assistance from the host and owners. I am defiantly saving this Listing in my favorites and I know that I will be back in the future. Thank you for the great stay and provided comfort!

Have booked several times and stayed in multiple units. Have always found Garry’s rentals to be impeccably clean & well stocked. The beds are so comfortable as well!!

Overall a very cute, well decorated little one bedroom duplex. My only complaint would be that the bedroom must be near a water softener or other large appliance because every night at least once a night I was woken up by some loud mechanical noises. Wasn't an issue for my husband who is a heavier sleeper but being a light sleeper it did bother my sleep somewhat. Otherwise everything else about the place was great with a well stocked kitchen.

The place was clean and cozy. Not too big, but it had everything I needed. Good for a short stay.

I had a wonderful stay in Clermont! I stayed here for a little solo getaway and it was exactly what I needed. Super peaceful, quiet, and the view was honestly so pretty. Everything was clean and comfy, and I just felt really relaxed the whole time. It was the perfect spot to take a breather. I would totally come back again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is super close to the theme parks, which was really convenient. Everything was spotless and felt brand new. I loved the style and especially appreciated all the thoughtful details—like having a hair dryer, clothes iron, shampoo, conditioner, soap… everything we could possibly need, and all great quality!

Loved the home! Love your mom, Peggy! Would LOVE to stay in the same neighborhood next year not for 3 1/2 months!

Recommend if you want peace and quiet. I would stay again.

We were very happy with the house, the pool area was a great addition for the kids, the landscaping and cleanliness exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect week!!!!!

My husband and I were in the area for a Jr. EYBL basketball tournament for my son. We stayed in the house along with 2 other families and their boys. It was PERFECT!!! So spacious, clean, and well equipped. The lake view was incredibly beautiful! The patio was a nice space for the boys to hang out between games. There were tons of board and card games to keep them busy. There was a nice office space that one of the dads used daily since he had some work to do. The beds were big and so comfortable! I loved the MIL house. It was well furnished and spacious as well. Great for the early to bed people… ME! Richard and Braden were very nice and allowed us a late checkout since our game was a little later on Sunday. I had only 1 question while there and I got a quick response. We have traveled a lot together and everyone agreed this is definitely in our top houses and we’ve stayed in and if ever in the area again, we will be back!

What an amazing 2 weeks with family!! Don’t hesitate to book this GEM of a home! It’s beautiful, peaceful (on a culdesac) SUPER QUIET at night, great spots to eat at the waterfront and all around Minneola in general. We had an issue with warming the spa and both were very responsive, ordered the part and within 2 days its was perfect. This house had EVERY amenity you would need and then some…games indoor and outdoor, kids books, fire pit, swing, blankets to cozy up on couch, dog bowls, leashes, toys etc. They truly make you feel like it’s home. We can’t rave about it enough!! We were only a short half hour drive away from Disney also. Our 2 small dogs absolutely LOVED chasing lizards and frogs around the pool area! We would LOVE to come back if they would have us! Thank you again for being such great hosts! All you do to make your guests feel comfortable at home does NOT go unnoticed! We had such a peaceful weekend at this serene riverside home. Rebecca is so responsive and helpful! We enjoyed unwinding by the water on the dock and watched family movies in the coziest living room. We went to take our child to swim with manatees which we were able to do at Crystal River then go back and just relax! Loved the quick escape and thank you to Rebecca for opening her home.

The Acorn is such a special place. The owners were so kind. The home had everything you need, right down to little trays on the dresser for your jewelry and such. The fish were biting and the turtles poked their little heads out to say hello. We also had a few exciting visits from George! We will be back for sure!

Janine’s place is spectacular. It’s a great family resort with a lot of things to do. The location is another plus, nearby to all parks from Disney and Universal. I really recommend it.

We had a blast staying at this wonderful and beautiful house for four days. Gerri made the stay unforgettable! The place was clean, everything what we needed was there. The pictures are exactly how the house looks. I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful scenery and to have a relaxing time in Inverness. Thank you Geri, we will definitely come back!

This was a great deal! We really enjoyed our stay! We had 10 people stay comfortably in a 3BR. I loved that there was a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Perfect for families with small children. There are bbq pits, pools and playscapes sprinkled everywhere on a very large resort. The only slight let down was that my kids were really looking forward to the pontoon boating but they said they could not use them because they can’t charge the boat batteries. There is one place to eat and it’s called Drafts and there are pizza phones at all the pools!! Haha - that’s pretty cool! Instacart your groceries the day you arrive. If you arrive before check-in time, have your swimsuits readily available to enjoy the pools. They offer a free breakfast and gift card to listen to a timeshares thing. But it’s really hard to make it with small children. The resort map needs to be updated - they have moved some of the amenities around. We made a great choice! Would do it again. Thank you Monique!

It was perfect for my needs. Dan is a responsive host and check in was flexible, seamless and easy. The apartment is small, but quaintly decorated and in a quiet complex. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to colleagues in town for similar events.

The apartment was very nice with a screened in balcony. It had all of the conveniences expected for a comfortable stay. The location was great because it was near plenty of restaurants and shopping, and close to the freeway and the Parks which makes it great for vacationers. The host was very responsive to questions and was pleasant to work with. One thing to note is that the unit is on the second floor and there are no elevators. Otherwise, it was a great choice!

We had definitely a great stay at Diogenes’s place. Very easy to find, quiet, peaceful lake view in the back and tons of sunlight in the apartment. We spent most of our nights on the balcony. Place is awesome would definitely stay again! Thank you Diogenes !!

We had a good time, it felt safe, clean and close to the parks only 5 or 7 minutes away, very convenient, it is easy to access and we had no problem entering the property, Saida provided us with the exact information when contacting us to enter her property, the kitchen is functional, you can cook food without any problems, I would only add a blender, otherwise she provided soap to wash the utensils and a sponge. A suitable bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soap
