Situated in North Cork, in the heart of Munster, within an hours drive of major cities in the south. The Cottage is only 500 metre’s, with views of the Galtee Mountains, from the beautiful ‘Famous’ Kildorrery town and a 10 minute drive from Mitchelstown (M7 Motorway). One of the many local amenities include, the Ballyhoura mountains, perfect for hikers or keen mountain bikers.

Fully furnished home located in a quiet peaceful estate. 12 minutes walk to Mallow town centre. You will have the entire house to yourself. Satellite TV, Sky sports & Cinema. Washing machine. Mallow is on the trainline, 55 minutes to Killarney, 20 mins to Cork & 2 hours 15 mins to Dublin. Mallow has a large choice of bars, restaurants, cinema & shops. Welcome to Owenie's Cottage set in the beautiful village of Glanworth in Co Cork. Glanworth is located 5 miles from the town of Fermoy, 7 miles from Mitchelstown and 25 miles from Cork City. The village is locally know as 'The Harbour', this stems from the 9th Century invasion of the Vikings who sailed as far as the Monastery in Glanworth. Owenie's Cottage is surrounded by medieval buildings and Old Mills . It is across the road from a castle with walks to the beautiful River Funcheon.

12 mins walk, 3 min drive to Main Street, this converted open plan cottage is a lovely place to stay and is child and pet friendly. Excellent train and Bus service. Lots of amenities in the town. Adjacent to Co Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Tipperary. Great walking/cycling in the area. Cottage fully self contained. There is a large enclosed garden. Everything should be there to make the cottage home away from home. I am contactable by phone or in person if required.

Apartment over Traditional Pub in little village

Guests will be staying upstairs over a village pub so can expect some noise until closing time,no food served in bar but menus for places that deliver left in space. Bar downstairs opens at 6.00 pm during week,Sundays bar opens at 2pm. Music some Saturday nights guests will be told when they book. Irish Story and Sing Night the Last Wednesday of every month till midnight which guests are welcome to visit songs and stories and a cup of tea half way through night
