This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. The area is popular for walking, mountain biking, SUPs, canoe hire and wild swimming. There is easy access to the River Wye for some stunning wild swims only a 20 minute walk through the village. There are 3 pubs, 2 churches, a hairdressers, a doctors surgery, a chippy and the excellent village shop with post office.

Excellent location for cyclists looking for easy access to the Forest of Dean bike park. Bike storage in the shed at the bottom of the garden and a hose for quick cleans on very muddy days. We stayed here with our friends and two dogs and there was plenty of room and also space outside to have dinner or drinks after a big day cycling. Helen also provided a high chair and cot for our toddler and was very accommodating throughout.

The accommodation was excellent and very clean. Contained all facilities you could ask for. Wet room fab and bed extremely comfortable. Lovely area and surrounding countryside. Many places to visit within easy driving distance.. The local restaurant The Inn On The Wye within walking distance via a footpath at end of the road. Good food too and lovely authentic Indian cuisine on a Wednesday and Thursday lunchtime and Evening!!!! Will certainly book Sally's cottage again.

Our stay was incredible. It was quiet, peaceful with beautiful views from the treehouse. The kitchen was so well equipped which made cooking meals so much fun! We also got so many recommendations on what to do around the area and every single place we stopped by did not disappoint. Everything was extremely neat and clean, and we loved the way the space was decorated. Overall a 10/10 experience, would definitely be back!!

Rob and Ellie were great hosts, sent lots of information on local amenities in the area and nice restaurants to try. Check in was easy and the property was a doddle to find. The property was well stocked with everything we needed to make ourselves at home for the weekend.

Perfect spot for enjoying the Forest and all it has to offer. Cinderford and Coleford ten minutes drive for shops, cafes and pubs, Ross just a bit further for a day out. Best of all, the woods and wildlife on your doorstep. We spent a very cosy and relaxing week here, making good use of the kitchen, and the pretty courtyard when the weather allowed. Thanks for a great stay!
