Our chalet is located on nature reserve De Slufter, a beautiful area that has been given back to nature and is therefore different every day. In the small-scale park, there are other chalets and cottages. In the park, it is especially quiet and there are few amenities.

Our very nice house right next to the Waddendijk is for rent from April 2019. The huge garden is surrounded by a ditch. On the other side are the sheep. At the rear of the property are fruit trees. From there, it's beautiful strolling to the birds in the adjacent nature reserve. At night it is out of earth dark and in the best case, a bright starry sky shines. Inside, the house is spacious, comfortable and also very cozy. It can accommodate 6 guests and it has 2 bathrooms.

In the evening you can enjoy the most beautiful starlit sky in the Netherlands, kept warm by the log fire in the fireplace.

During the day you can enjoy the wonderfully large and sunny garden which is completely covered by natural vegetation.

At the edge of the dunes, along the Texelse Postweg, is De Postkeet. A small, characterful place to land, slow down and enjoy the view — of the landscape and on the day. You won't find a rush here. Only wind through the helmet grass, coffee in the morning sun and a sunset you see nowhere else.
