BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. The bright rooms are inviting, south terrace (60 m²) with table, chairs and loungers as well as a small garden complete the offer. Bed dimensions (cm) 180 x 200 and 160 x 200. Welcome to Mecklenburg on the Baltic Sea — in an orchard garden in a small village by a lake. The three-legged cat is called Traveller & loves guests. The shepherd’s wagons accommodate 1 to 4 (or 5) people. There’s a sunny terrace with a view of meadows, forest & pond, a fire pit, 3 bicycles & lots to discover. Nearby: forest (0.4 km), swimming lakes (1.5/4 km), hiking trail past churches (0.8 km), Baltic Sea (29 km), Schwerin, Wismar, Lübeck, horses & beautiful Mecklenburg countryside.

From the apartment to the nearest swimming facility in Lake Schwerin, it takes 3 minutes on foot... to the castle you can reach on a beautiful shore path in 20 minutes and the city center is not much further. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful... there is a small forest within a 3-minute walk. The apartment is cozy and spacious (120 square meters)... there is also a second toilet (not pictured).You have a terrace and can barbecue in the garden. Heating/hot water are guaranteed.

Relax with the whole family at this beautiful place to stay. Our vacation home is quietly located in a village of 14 residents in a small forest. It is wonderfully quiet and invites you to relax. Our farm is a nice place to relax and unwind, especially for families with children. In the large garden with sheep, chickens and two cats, there are plenty of opportunities to play and explore. The Baltic Sea is a 35-minute drive away., Schwerin 20 minutes, Wismar 20 minutes.

Lakeside house

Our vacation home is located directly on Lake Ziegelsee. An absolute place of longing in nature! It was completed in 2021. Very nice natural stone floor downstairs, upstairs wooden floor, underfloor heating Functional kitchen, Miele dishwasher. We have a washing machine with a dryer. The terrace is generously covered. Of course, there is sun and insect protection. The property is over 3000 sqm. We have our own lake access with a jetty. The lake invites you to swim.

Gut Niendorf Carriage House

A lovely cottage with a thatched roof. The former coachman's house is located on the grounds of the Niendorf estate. From their own terrace, our guests enjoy the magnificent view of the estate park. The well-known cities such as Schwerin and Wismar and the Baltic Sea can be reached in no time. Free parking for 2 cars is right by the house. There are 5 sleeping options in the remise. For additional people, guest rooms with bathroom/pantry can be booked.

In the garden under the apple trees, you can relax or sit together comfortably. A barbecue is available! A sandbox or a ping-pong table is available for the kids. In summer, we recommend a canoe trip on nearby Ratzeburger See or a shopping trip to Lübeck! Wedding parties are possible on the farm! The house has a full basement.
