This historical house has stunning vaulted sandstone ceilings and rooms decorated in Scandic-Italian style. A spacious bedroom, en-suite bathroom and a small lounge area with private entrance from the street. A fantastic location but not for the faint hearted, lots of steps, but it's worth it. Bring your sneakers !

Castelluccio house This is a comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful green setting. It has large windows and a big front patio, full of flowers, overlooking the mountains and the valley below. It’s in a totally quiet rural setting, only 10 minutes drive into town. It’s one of the most peaceful settings we’ve stayed; it was wonderful to sleep so deeply. One issue to be aware of is the heating system (it was still chilly when we were there in early May). It’s good if you are familiar with making fires in a fireplace or wood stove, as this actually heats water pipes that control the radiators in the rest of the house. This is a property that shows the care and love of the owners, and the host is very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Ogni parola risulterebbe superflua per descrivere la disponibilità e la gentilezza di Marco, un livello di accoglienza raro e quando ne abbiamo avuto bisogno, si è dimostrato immediatamente pronto ad aiutarci, molto più di quanto fosse in suo dovere. Per non parlare della location, fondamentalmente è una semplice casetta di campagna, poi esci, ti accomodi al tavolino sotto al gazebo posto nel giardino ed è qui che capisci cosa ha di speciale questo luogo. Puoi godere di una vista strepitosa che da un lato si affaccia sulla vallata che poi conduce al vicino borgo di Corleto Perticara, dall'altro distese di boschi e montagne Che dire, se cercate un po' di pace, qualche giorno lontano dallo stress quotidiano è questo il luogo che fa per voi. Spero di ritornarci presto, un caro saluto da Gabriele e Elisabetta.

Spectacular views from this Airbnb, especially at night on the balcony. I really enjoyed my stay at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s place. The kitchen was very useful because a lot of the restaurants were all booked during the weekend I visited Castelmezzano. Parking was challenging. But Pierfeancesco provided detailed instructions and a video. There are a lot of steps to climb in Castelmezzano to get to this Airbnb, so I recommend you find the place first and then bring your heavy luggage on a 2nd trip. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience staying at Pierfeancesco / Antonello’s Airbnb. I definitely strongly recommend.
