Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt bei Renata. Es war sehr cool, dass sie uns noch 2 Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt hat, da Merida relativ gross ist. Bei uns war es sehr heiss (Hitzewelle 40 Grad) weshalb wir froh um den Pool waren. Das Airbnb ist sehr schön und würde ich jedem empfehlen.

Herman’s house on the beach in Chuburna is beautifully designed and thoroughly comfortable. I chose it based on reviews, its unique appearance, privacy and location away from touristy areas. Progreso, however, is 20 minutes away and offers a supermarket, restaurants etc. Having a car is highly recommended for those who want to visit points of interest in the Yucatán, such as the Mayan archeological site at Uxmal, the flamingoes in the Celestun biosphere. and various cenotes - all experiences well worth the drive. The Mayan museum in Mérida is also wonderful to visit. Herman’s onsite list was very good guidance for what not to miss. Thoroughly recommend this house. Linda

Everything great about the place and location....the weather wasn't! 37 degrees everyday, but the pool was absolute heaven! We felt very comfortable in the house which was great because with the heat, we mostly stayed home. I had dropped by ID, received a phone call from Pim which I hadn't heard but he was already on his way to the airport to return it to me!!!! An angel, definitely went out of his way. We would definitely come back to the same place, just not in May. Thanks, Pim and Rita, who found my ID.

Casa Jirafa set the highest standard for an airBnB experience I’ve ever had. The home is so lovely that you don’t feel guilty sleeping in or hanging around the private pool. The location is central and the city is lively. A wonderful experience with perfect hosts. 10/10 recommend their entire business structure and beautiful home. The most helpful were their guidebooks that gave me all the local knowledge I needed that I was able to download into a digital form. Will be booking again!

What an incredible stay! The house is exactly as described- directly on the sea. Every morning it was calm as glass until 11:30a- could walk 60+ft out to a sandbar. It’s a small beach but you can walk along the coast to collect shells/look at the other beach homes. AC is only wall units in the living room, kitchen, bedrooms- it was warm in the afternoon or when cooking. The upstairs unit couldn’t keep up so we slept downstairs instead. But nothing to worry about. Spending each sunset on the rooftop was our highlight. And the pool when it was windy in the afternoon! Add 2 cholorine tablets daily to keep the water blue. Chelem is a tiny charming town. Chedraui in Merida and Progreso are best for groceries. Try Pescadería Cristo Rey IN Chelem- there is a Cristo Rey in Chuburna but it’s not as good. Plan for takeout- we had the best camarones ceviche and pescado frito. Also book a trip to Isla Los Columpios, ojo de agua, and Playa los Carbonaras! We already want to come back!!

Un lugar muy apacible con todo para poder quedarse en casa. Tiene algunos lugares cercanos para visitar y el super del pueblo bastante práctico donde puedes encontrar casi todo. Lo que mas nos agrado es que María Elena piensa en las necesidades de diferentes edades y gustos de sus inquilinos, porque había diversión para todos En lo único que sufrimos un poco es que el agua de la alberca estaba fría. No se alcanzaba a calentar con el sol. Es un lugar muy recomendable para pasarla en familia.

Estuvimos muy contentos y agusto en el departamento. El departamento esta muy bonito, comodo, frente al mar y muy bien equipado. La atencion del Host fue muy buena y eficiente. Recomendamos ampliamente la ubicacion y el departamento en general. Mil gracias!

Rox siempre estuvo atenta desde que reservamos, durante y a la salida del inmueble. Todo lo tiene muy cuidado en el departamento tal y como se ven las fotos. Recomiendo ampliamente su departamento. La atención excelente y el lugar increíble!

Luis's place exceeded our expectations! It was well decorated and comfortable with a beautiful pool and outdoor spaces. Luis was friendly and helpful too.

We stayed only two days in Mauricio’s place because it was only a short visit in Progreso. The condo is very nice, well furnished and supplied. The neighbours are nice and the place is quiet. There is a nice pool and a rooftop patio with a nice view, shaded area and a nice breeze. There is a convenience store nearby as well as a few nice restaurants with a varied offering of dishes. We recommend this place for a nice stay in Progreso.

Muy atenta , accesible , resolvió imprevistos , una excelente vista y muy buen gusto en la decoración , nos recibió con una sorpresa, altamente recomendable!
