Our house has fragile and antique components and is not suited for pets, groups or children. If you are ok with quirky, imperfect, au natural and "wild" (possibility of snakes and spiders) we have your place! With windows along most of the east side, you will almost always have a view of the Sacramento River. This is not a cookie cutter house—please read listing.

Our cabin was originally built in 1928. We restored it, using repurposed wood throughout. The wood burning stove downstairs in the living and dining area are large spaces for gathering and visiting after a hike in Lassen or biking along the meadow. Upstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom, downstairs has a bedroom and bathroom. On the back deck, there is a large outdoor dining and lounge area. The town of Mineral is a small island of private cabins surrounded by a sea of National Forest and National Park lands. An adventurer's dream. You could walk out the backdoor of the cabin, into the forest, and arrive at the Lassen Visitor Center without crossing a single paved road, or seeing another human. Just bears.
