This cottage is situated in the country in a farm setting.We are 2 kms from the Airport and on the road to Gladstone vineyard . It is a 5 min drive to the Kuripuni shopping complex with many restaurants, a movie theatre and a supermarket on hand . The gardens are open to our guests where you will enjoy seeing the mute swans and other birds including a pet peacock. This cottage is not suitable for young children we have farm machinery and large open water spaces on the property.

Once again, this has to be one of the best places to stay in Masterton. Close to all the amenities and the house itself is very roomy and has everything you could want for a comfortable stay - even a swimming pool and barbecue. Highly Recommend.

Easily my new fav Airbnb… The location is immensely beautiful and harboured a peaceful and relaxing environment for our stay. The 3 alpacas in the paddock adjacent to the accomodation were the cherry on top for us. Although small, the space was perfect for two, we felt very comfortable and cosy and the bed was also adequately sized for myself and my partner. Check in was super smooth and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The hosts are extremely friendly. Although the property is located near the hosts’ home, we still felt a sense of privacy and seclusion. I was also slightly apprehensive about using a composting toilet (as I had not used one before), however it was genuinely not a problem in any way. I certainly wouldn’t hesitate in booking here if you had any qualms about those aspects of this property. I would definitely love to come back! Thanks so much for the lovely stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at this cottage. It’s private and cozy, and having coffee on the little porch was a real treat. The hosts are incredibly kind, responsive and caring - I felt very welcomed throughout my stay. I’d love to come back one day and will definitely recommend it to my friends. This trip left me with wonderful memories! Even though the house doesn’t have heating, I was still comfortable spending the night there in winter. There were plenty of blankets and two hot water bottles. That said, I’d recommend bringing warm socks and thermal clothing just in case.

We had clear instructions how to enter the property and was greeted with a lovely bottle of Martinborough Riesling! We had a phenomenal view of the sky in the evening, seeing the galaxy and even lucky enough to catch the Aurora Australis! 😍 The house itself was warm, cosy and perfect for a peaceful trip. We just wish we stayed longer! 😅 Super close to the neighbouring towns and right next to Stonehenge Aotearoa. thanks Kate, we loved our stay!
